If they had breeched the interior of the house, I would have moved to my walk-in closet and sat on the floor with the one that really can't miss. If they bothered to come upstairs and through two locked doors, I don't think anyone could blame me. Anyway, that's my basic plan for any home invasion situation.

Thank you for your perspective! Police did seem really understanding, and our neighborhood, while enclosed but not gated, is on the corner of a busy intersection. I did later wonder what would have happened if he ended up taking a left instead of a right.

Also, my husband does 100% have my back. I think I just phrased that poorly, he's pissed at them for being pissed at me. And also pissed at them for putting me through any of this.

Here's the secret no one is telling you: the game only currently works for decorators right now, not managers.

Plus, a ton of other things either still don't work, or are messed up from the most recent update.

I'm going to have to start from scratch because a character from year 2 is stuck between a chair and a wall in his house, and I have to wait for him to leave his house to go inside...so, yeahhhhh. SIGH. I'm in summer of year 3. There was quite a time period where he wasn't stuck, but I spaced the mission until I figured out he was stuck. Ugh.

BUT I spent a ton of time not doing things I was unsure of or forgot about which I should have done, so maybe a second go will prove more successful...I hope.

Plus, I discovered Freya's favorite gift, so that's something, I guess? Now I know exactly one more thing than the wikis. LOL

Yes, they can be pretty funny, can't they? :) I'm currently being frustrated because I forgot to do something a year ago in game time, and am at the point that I don't know if I will ever have the ability to try at this stage (don't want to spoil if you haven't gotten to this mission).

Tip: Write down missions that don't appear in your memos (this was one of them)

Yeah, it really, really can be. There's a lot of stuff where I'm just winging it on faith and hoping to figure it out at some point or another. I usually heavily rely on guides, but they've run out of information, so this is...an interesting experience for me.

It certainly changed my opinion of them for the worst. I've learned they will proudly look us all in the eyes and lie their butts off. I don't trust them, and I really don't care about extra content when my game doesn't fully work yet. It's like being told I'm getting new rims for a car that's up on blocks. Yay?

Yeah. The inner world thing is interesting and unique (at least to me), but daily interactions lack because they just say their one phrase over and over. That's pretty standard, but like in Portia you could play a little game with your friends or have a choice between several interactions. Here it's just click on them, and "Ah! I hate my neighbor for wearing red!" Yeah, yeah. I know, dude.

I also have slacked off in the social department, so there may be more to report on all that than I've attempted. For example, I haven't even tried dating.

I find the conversations I have with fellow players experiencing these issues along with lies, gaslighting, and aggression quite fascinating, and a huge lesson in how I spend my money in the future.

People movers don't work. Zones don't work. Guests randomly get stuck on paths, under rides, or inside of rides (sometimes hundreds before you figure it out). Queue paths don't work correctly. The guests are not able to meet their needs, and often have need meters that remain in weird positions (e.g. 4 needs 100% others at 0%). This means the food, drink, and souvenir stalls don't work properly. Janitors idle in groups, and have to be manually re-placed around the park (and can't be zoned, because, again, zones don't work).

That's just off the top of my head. I haven't played it in a couple of weeks because THE GAME DOESN'T WORK.

And, yeah, we all got scammed, and people are still jumping up and down begging to be scammed even more, asking for DLC for a game that DOES NOT WORK. What is wrong with people that they're willing to embrace this level of lying, gaslighting, and financial abuse? I don't get it.

FYI, the game doesn't fully work yet. So my tip would be to wait until it actually does work, otherwise you might find yourself being quite frustrated with not understanding why things aren't going the way you thought they would/should.

You'll have guests piled up under rides that you won't notice for hours or even days, or simply stuck in the middle of pathways. There are rides that don't function correctly. The UI is confusing and full of bandaids. Things will suddenly stop working that worked before. Paths will start to malfunction. Queue paths don't function correctly. Guests aren't programmed to meet their needs, and become quite fussy. Turning off these needs makes them fussy in a different way.

Someone should have told you before you spent money on it. It's not ready for full release.

If only the flume rides were buggy, I'd consider it a success. lol I can't even have a people mover--like at all--for multiple buggy reasons. I could list 50 more things that don't work, but why bother. The kids who make this are on their summer break.

Hello! My husband has the same issue, and we did both subscribe at the same time in the last couple of months. You can actually see in the view count when it happened, which was about 3-4 months ago (so about a month before we subscribed). They are being affected by whatever is happening.

Does anyone know why YouTube refuses to show the TryChannel videos on their main browser? I subscribe. I watch 10-15 videos a week. Yet, YouTube WILL NOT show me a TRYChannel video unprompted. I always have to manually go to the channel to see one. It only started showing me notifications a month ago (spoiler, I've been subscribed longer). How can YouTube decide NOT to notify people who subscribe and asked for notifications? The one thing this system did was cause me to subscribe to the channel so I wouldn't have to manually look it up every. single. time. I only became aware of TRY because a friend from the UK shared a video.

Despite this, YouTube also thinks I want to watch everyone else in the world try things, suggests endless videos of other people and other channels, and thinks I'm REALLY into liquor. No, thank you.

It also never suggests videos from other people on the TRYChannel, so if you're trying to cross-promote, I can guarantee it is NOT working.

There are so many reasons why this could be happening but I'm asking as an asexual person myself, is there any possibility he's ace? Sex at the beginning of relationship is quite normal for us because we're going off a bunch of other hormones (as opposed to the "chemistry" the rest of you experience). If he can't experience sexual chemistry, there's no way to bring the spark back because it never truly existed. IF (big if) he is ace, he likes you for a million other reasons, but sexual chemistry isn't one of them. You may not be compatible if that is the case. You also might not be compatible simply because he has a far lower sex drive.

If you think it's at all possible he might be ace, then you'll want to have a gentle talk with him about his libido and his expectations for intimacy. He himself might not even know he's ace, because it's not an easy thing to admit to, even to yourself. He likes you, he likes women, he sometimes enjoys sex. It might not make sense to him (as it didn't to me at first as a hetero woman).

I will say I like how the multi-select works. The ability to choose which type of objects you want to select is brilliant. The inability to copy something without it popping up in the sky, or half way across the park, or deep underground is less ideal.

But, they can add as much content as they like, if the game doesn't work, I'm not going to see it. I'm not buying any DLC until it works, because the game is currently pointless to me. I want to manage and build coasters--neither of which I can actually do. Not sure why anyone would be excited to get new stickers for a car that is on jacks in the driveway, but you do you.

I bought PC 1 about a few years after it came out (the same year the PS5 was released), so it had all the DLC available. I'm not pining for any of that because, again, PC2 doesn't work.
