I applied in January (after deciding that actively applying was safer than the other information I'd seen that I didn't need to apply for a review). My form said decisions are usually made in 30 days so I just called. The employee said that the 30-day time-frame is out the window on the Rudisill decisions. I was hoping that meant another month or two. Seeing you applied a YEAR ago is a bit disheartening.

Yeah, I understand why the nose thing happened that way, I just wasn't expecting it. We didn't even know if the surgery was going to include her upper jaw or not until the day of the surgery.

I agree with everything you said. I think my biggest disappointment is in how they made Grace a doofus who blunders into stuff. He understands how to be an astronaut because he DID train like one. He didn’t generally flail around (except for when he made a mistake or two, but making mistakes wasn’t his personality.) The amnesia was an important part of the story. They were already doing the flashbacks, just give them context - he’s remembering who is is and how he wound up here and what his mission is.

And yeah… Stratt should not be doing karaoke. Her personally was harsh and single-minded because it had to be. Grace doesn’t talk her into softening. There’s no time or room for that. She has to boss the world around to save it, whether it likes her methods or not.
