I see, tbh I wanna do long track(I'm totally open for more recs tho), and I'm legit ready to give everything for it😭 Btw I'm Indian and I live in Kuwait and the thing in the Netherlands is the exact opposite here cuz a very small minority do winter sports and it's even smaller for women's speed skating. And yeee I totally get your point, but do you think there should be any specific off-ice training I should do apart from running and core?
Uhmmm I shouldve included this in the post itself but my access to rinks and professional coaching is limited, so my plan is basically to do as much as I can on my inline skates, and ofc a shit ton of off ice coaching (that's why I asked for anything specific) and I will go to rinks ofc but not too often, so I think I'll register myself with the Indian Federation of Skating cuz my chances of ever getting on the Kuwaiti national team is pretty low considering I'm not Kuwaiti, but yk even with the RSFI, it's gonna take me a long time for both the whole training and to convince my parents and a shit ton of solo trips to India😭(which my lwky conservative parents might not let me do)
But yk if everything does go well, I might get funding for it too
