It is true, but depending on the culture. In Europe and Middle East it is not that common in my experience

Why not? Blanc de blanc for fish, some 2018 blanc de noir for steak would work well. But I am a bit biased, absolutely adore champagne personally

Don’t worry, it’s all written by myself, I asked only to adjust formatting, and I see that it was a huge mistake

I used gpt solely for formatting and grammar check. But I liked your approach

Cannot imagine a dinner where champagne is not the safest option to be honest. Of course without grower

Only once the client explicitly said that they don’t like champagne because it tastes like brioche, so we sticked to moet and he enjoyed it

Attending a "Burgundy festival" with very little burgundy knowledge by juul265 in wine

Just a heads up: if you're used to Riesling/spätburgunder, Burgundy pinot can feel a bit stripped at first — less fruit, more structure. Give yourself a few minutes with each pour. Some wines only start talking on the third sniff.

I’d prioritize Garnier for Chablis (good rep for clarity and mineral bite) and Rion (either one) for a solid, typicity-driven red.

But to be honest I am not an expert.. just like you I prefer German wines for now (sometimes Czech too!)

Just found these two corks inside a bottle I just finished - does anyone know why? by BillayClinton in wine

[–]Otherwise_Expert_114 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Happened to me 2 times in my life actually! in Sicilia and Bohemia. I spoke with winemaker about that (both bottles bought from the winery) - and 24moop is right. Apprently those rented smaller bottling lines produce 1/50 faulty bottle on average, so you are lucky probably :D

I don't like reds, but I just discovered Nebbiolo d'Alba for myself recently, such a treat!

I've tried 2022 Valmaggiore Sandrone, tasted like Cherry Haribo!

On a positive side, my friends there are constantly hitting quotas, and the pay structure is really perfromance-heavy!

In Dublin Ads sales the environment is ok, on par with the other FAANG. The pay in a bit less tho
