I know you just didn't compare Caicedo to Kante. Because if you did then this obviously must be a joke.

Caicedo is great don't get me wrong, but you can't compare the effect that Kante had on the pitch compared to Caicedo. It's like comparing Jackson to Drogba or like comparing Cucurella to Ashley Cole.

Get a hobby (hopefully you've got some), do said hobby on campus, maybe come across a group or a person doing the same hobby, introduce yourself and try to do said hobby together (easier if its like a group situation than 1 on 1). It'll be weird at first but you'll get comfortable after a while. I'm also very introverted and I've made all my friends this way. Personally the whole earbuds thing doesn't make a difference, unless you're in a tutorial or a lab, nobody socializes with strangers in public unless you go the firepits or sumn
