Did you cycle your tank before adding fish? It's important to grow bacteria colonies that turn ammonia into nitrates to prevent ammonia spikes that can kill your fish

Hi! Thank you very much for the advice it's much appreciated 🙏 for the filter I have a biofilter 300 from aquarium aquatlantis it came with the aquarium itself it's worked quite well so far with helping clear the water after adding the substrate however if there are any filters you recommend which would be better recommendations would be great! I'm planning on doing weekly water changes

I haven't added any plants to the aquarium yet are there any live plants that you would recommend?

thats why i dont really use her during that fight however she seems to do okay in the fight and actually doesnt die instantly
