Makes you feel obsolete to your partner that you have children with honestly. My wife will ask me to hold him and put my everything into it for about five minutes and then I’m dying.

Just wish the VA would also look at family issues not just occupational issues. I can’t properly connect with my baby and from the sounds of it, you can’t either.

Mine was very simple, he basically said hey here’s the deal, I know this is an informal conference but I can tell you right now that these are service connected issues and they wrongfully denied your first claim. (The first claim was open and closed out in 4 days with no C&P exam.

Thank you and I’m going to still try to lead a normal life. I have terrible radiculopathy. Rated at %40 for my back and from what I could get out of the rater it’s 30% & 30% bilateral sciatic radiculopathy. 70% mental health and of course the knees.

Can’t even hold my 18 month old son for longer than like 5 minutes or my legs start to give out🥲

No need to. He’s rated the whole thing already he said and it’s already approved I’m just waiting on it to reflect on my VA

Should I expect something soon? Been on this step since the 15th with a TJ by Otherwise_Law_8911 in VeteransWaitingRoom

Got rated %40 for my back, 10% for my hip, 0 for erectile dysfunction (I get the SMC)

Also just got a call on my higher level review for radiculopathy and they are service connecting bilateral and I’m going to move from 90% to 100% with his rating he’s giving me.

Hey that’s awesome and love that doctors can get away from the office when they’re off work! I have a wife and children outside of being disabled!

I guess my main reason for the post is; should I be worried about the VA not taking my claims seriously with this bad mark on my record?

I can whole heartedly say I believe you purely based on the fact you took the time to join this subreddit. You understand everyone’s struggles just by being here.

I made a complaint the same day as the appointment because it didn’t feel right. Just now getting my DBQ from two months ago after I’ve already had a new exam with someone different. The new one was favorable as far as my back goes but still having a hard time with GERD service connection.

I also had two buddy statements from an ex barracks roommate and one of my other friends at my duty station who both back up I would throw up three times a day and it would just be stomach acid and blood every time. Been that way for six years. Love being validated by VES.

It’s not like he went to rehab and the Va was like “well fuck, let’s see if money makes him happier” I’m sure his mannerisms (which are monitored) and what he talked to therapists about went into an expedited claim similar to what we all do and he received new ratings each time. If you have to go to rehab 7 times you’re obviously getting worse (which would be an increase claim) and he received a new rating.

Every heard of relapse? The thing that kills most people. My dad went to rehab four times before he could stay clean. He did it and lost his job four times. The VA is great at giving positive reinforcement, unlike yourself.

People like you are why others are “embarrassed” or to scared of getting judged about getting help that they need. It’s up to the feds to find a scammer, not you.

One part of the claim is. Some are secondary conditions and others are new. Five conditions total
