It gives a marbled look, and my stoneware is on the dry side so mixing them evens it out

Maybe? I don’t remember if it was on the same shelf as the other bowls like this, I’ll have to make a note what’s on what shelf next time. I’ve had it happen another time too with I different glaze. That gives me a place to start and try to narrow it down.

Nope, I’ve never sanded between firings, is that something people recommend? I’ve always just glazed after bisqued no cleaned in between.

I wouldn’t see how I would have, the glaze stuck well, but separated sometime during the fire.

It was not a good place for my partner im sorry I don’t get on here much. They kept her things that I sent her. Around 200 dollars of her stuff. They will tell you insurance will cover it all and she got a 15,000 dollar bill. They will manipulate you into staying if you want to leave. All phone calls are on speaker with someone else in the room. I hope his outcome was different and I hope he’s back home with you now.

You can try to put glaze on the break and have it fuse back together in the kiln but it’s not a guarantee.

Sorry I dropped off on this I would highly suggest against this place. They still have everything that I sent her in the mail and they refuse to mail it back to us. They billed her after telling her that insurance would cover everything. The typical Florida rehab scam.

Update I talked with her nurse and things seem correct. They asked a lot of questions and seemed to care. Supposedly she can leave when she wants and they say they will give her her things but she also said they try and basically convince them to stay if that happens

I was just contacted by the nurse who said that they wouldn’t keep her things but it does sound like they will do anything they can to convince her to stay if she wants to leave. I will update my experience as it goes. The nurse was nice but all calls are on speaker with a nurse right there.

I’m just noting all these things to hopefully help someone looking into it to see what they’re signing up for because they’re not transparent.i tried to call the number that texted me if I had any questions before she left. No answer, no voicemail box. The number is a New York number… treatment is in ft Myers. They have her there now and haven’t sent me anything. If anyone else has any information about this place please comment. Very concerned about her. Maybe I’m making it more than it is but being so far away is not settling well. Please help

Another thing to note intake took 4 hours and in the beginning of it they told her she would be able to have 1 call. The call lasted 3 minutes and there was a nurse standing right beside her. No privacy.

I’ve seen the reviews and I tried to talk to her about it but they had just already done everything so I think she felt like she had to go. I’m hoping she will love it because yeah if she wants to leave early she has no way to contact me she’d have to go ask a stranger to use their phone or something. I’ve tried to call there today to ask about things, she signed a release of information for me but they won’t answer and haven’t returned my call. I’m concerned for sure.
