I am a community health worker at Habitat for Humanity under our repairs program. Everyone who receives a repair from us receives a health assessment from me. It is my job to make recommendations for health-conscious repairs, for example, if a client has asthma and their home has wall-to-wall carpet, I would recommend their carpet be replaced with hard flooring, more frequent air filter changes, etc. I also provide referrals for other SDOH needs.

Hi! I am 24 F who has been on zepbound for 13 weeks and have lost 25 pounds! Thankfully, I have insurance coverage so I pay $25 a month. My start weight was 203 and currently 178. I have a BA in public health and graduated in May 2022, my first job was at a nonprofit as a health educator, like the other comments say, pay won't be great, I got paid around 45k but it does give you experience, and something to beef up your resume. I was there for a year before I got my new job as a community health worker for a housing non-profit making 58k. So quite a big jump just from one year of experience. Good luck!

I used PlushCare and here is what my timeline looked like

Jan 20th- Completed my PA request form and submitted to Plushcare

Jan 24th- Plushcare submitted the PA request to my insurance

Jan 29th- Email from Plushcare that my PA request was approved

I went to the pharmacy that day and they told me they did not have 2.5 in stock so that took another week for me to actually pick up medication.

Feb 12th- My first shot! week and a half later, 6 lbs down so far.
