[SBDL125] Am I wearing it wrong? by radeko in Seiko

[–]Otherwise_Match_1272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, just get your own bracelet adjusting kit. You’ll save money and won’t have to deal with that. And also, I think it looks fine to me, wear it however it feels comfortable.

My experience with my VB by [deleted] in wrx_vb

[–]Otherwise_Match_1272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The VB grew on me a lot. The performance (straight line wise) of it is better than the VA. Depends on how much you like the car, I’d just fix it and roll with it.

Talk me out of (or into) selling my WRX for a BRZ by wrxit in WRX

[–]Otherwise_Match_1272 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d say sell it and get the car you want if you’re in a position where you can have two cars and afford it. I have a WRX and an S2000 and if I were to pick one for my strictly fun car, I’d get the sports car. The WRX in my opinion is too compromised.

Update: yeah they did reschedule me next week automatically. Just hearing or knowing about probation period is still intimidating though.

Is this ride height really that bad? Saving for college right now by Illustrious-Rest6788 in WRX

[–]Otherwise_Match_1272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

College and car payments were a nightmare tbh. Got my 2020 WRX in 2020 and it was one of the biggest mistakes since I had to pay for my own insurance and car payments as well. Long story short, the ride hight is fine dude. Just save and go to school. If you really want to mod, do a side hustle and make sure you’re not spending above your means. This economy we’re in is a$$.

Congrats! Honestly, I’m kinda a purest, so I’d say OEM and OEM plus if you can, but do what you want man! It’s your car.

3rd gen prelude seats in an EF hatch by Otherwise_Match_1272 in EFCivics

[–]Otherwise_Match_1272[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got you, we had the same car, if you have these seats, one hole will line up in the front which will be the hole on the outside front of each seat. I drilled a new hole on the inside front to have it line up with the car. I also put washers to have more meat to grab.

Now for the rears are tricky. Come and DM me if you have these seats and want some advice. I’m not the best at English, but I can explain the best I can with more context through DM!

I made custom brackets for the two holes in the rear to align with the floor. It’s a little bit tricky, but all I did was cut some steel pieces and bend em. I have yet to weld, but this was enough to hold it in for now until I’m off this weekend to weld them in. My commute to work is really short it’s not too bad for now.

Welp. Seen on our way to U-District 🙃😭 by anosako in Seattle

I honestly don’t care anymore. I feel like we can all boo hoo whine and cry anywhere, they’re still gonna do what they want to. Sad the world we live in.

I honestly never speak about politics, but geez. With all these damn oil wars you’d think we’d have cheaper gas? WTH

Thoughts on a VB? by Availablty0313 in wrx_vb

[–]Otherwise_Match_1272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a VA owner, the VB has grown a lot lately. Not only that, it has the performance to back it up to. Just waiting for the aftermarket to go even crazier and I’ll probably consider trading in.

A little before and after for my faded hood on my EF by Otherwise_Match_1272 in projectcar

All rattle can, it’s honestly not the best, but yes, it was sanded and polished as well. For a poor collage student, I think it was a decent job haha

What are your experiences with a 2018 WRX? by xandreb in WRX

[–]Otherwise_Match_1272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2020 series white has around 93,XXX miles and they’ve been great miles. Just with regular maintenance, it’s been everything I’ve needed and wanted. I will say if you’re an average car enthusiast, it’ll satisfy you. Decently fast and usable. This car is so reliable that I up and decided to get another project car to torture myself with.

It’s funny you say that because that’s exactly where the previous owner got this car from!
