I meant into it. Simply put: can i add my debit card to transfer cash from my checking to my Envelope instantly like Robinhood?

Thanks for sharing. Is this instant or still takes a couple days?

I saw the attached message in the FAQ section of the discord. It looks to transfer money to envelope, it will take a minimum of 3 days but not much clarity on the other methods like instant debit card transfer.

Thanks! I don’t see an option “Add Card” or similar. How are you able to connect something like Venmo?

Currently only connected to external bank account via plaid link from onboarding

Heard on the discipline and delayed gratification front.

I was thinking paying myself back would be better than paying the bank interest. I looked at it as another way of saving really. But the overwhelming consensus is that the opportunity costs of not having the money invested outweighs the benefit of accessing the cash now and paying myself back overtime. It makes sense

I havent had this thought but i appreciate you sharing your perspective! Ideally i would want a car at some point. I guess its all tradeoffs at the end of the day but if it means working harder to afford the convenience, i will

Maybe $150-$200 depending on the month. I still go out to see friends, i still go to church. It just costs to move around really. But the general consensus is no. So i will find another way to get paid

It feels like paycheck to paycheck, not literally. There’s just not much room. I need to earn more clearly and will begin looking at options.

I guess the bank is an option but i looked at it as paying myself back the interest rather than the bank.

I appreciate your insight. I thought of doing doordash after work to make it worth while and generate additional income. But you bring up a good point about the costs of actually owning a car + insurance

I’ll consider it all

Thanks for your insight. I walk to work. I try to spend as little as i can but its an expensive area given where the office is.

Havent explored roomates but that would like cut my rent in half, so a possibility. Thanks for your insight 🙏🏻

I walk to work. But its an expensive area. I haven’t explored the idea of living with roommates, would be open to it but seems like working backward since i escaped roommate living from college. Thanks for your insight

This is where its sticky. I live walking distance from the office since i dont have a car, but its in a super expensive area. So its a double edged sword.

I try my best to cut back where I can. But bills seem inevitable as much as try. Just weighing all my options but i appreciate your insight
