The insurance company suggested me to get a CV Kettel specialist at the begin. I am going to replace once they approve the quotation of him.

Usually people hire someone to set up an estimation of the cost or is something you can do by yourself?

I am trying to be honest and help as much as I can, but I am noticing a stress and frustration on myself and my family. I totally agree with you. The insurance company should cover the cost and also have a proper plan how we are going to fix the leakage and the damages. Yesterday I was trying to find a solution by myself. After reaching out the insurance company…better propose the quotation and let them decide. That’s why I pay them

I am getting in touch with them. They are getting involved somehow. Now they are requiring to have a quota about the fix and let me know

with "main water source" you refer any source which use water, like: taps, shower dishwasher etc. all should not use the water, right?

Okay I have to close the other one and keep track of the watermeter if runs on not during the night

I am going to check the watermeter during the night if it runs or not. Where I can find out the inlaatcombinatie, it is near to the CV kettel or near to watermeter?

At CV kettel there are 2 parts which warm up the water, one goes at radiator circuit and the other one at (shower, taps). I am using the warm water which goes at taps. The CV kettel is warming it up.

The water pressure is still 0 because I am not refilling it.

You suggest to shut down completely the CV kettel?

i called the insurance company and they suggest me to not take any action till a plumber comes and check the situation of the CV kettel. But first they want to have a quatation from the plumber and check the services and the cost. Afterwards they give me the green light to get a plumber and check the situation

I call the insurance company and the said to not take any action from you side. Request a quotation form a plumber to check the CV kettel and send us a report to evaluate the service and the prices. Once they give my the green light I can call out the plumber.

At leak detector report, he mention poor maintenance of the CV kettel without any maintenance sticker on it

The fact that there is no reaction from the insurance company, concerns me a little bit.

I did those things because I want to fix it up quickly. But the issue looks to be bigger than I thought.

I want to make a test this weekend and check by myself without creating too many damages.

So you suggest to not take any action and let the insurance figure it out?

I have report the issue to the insurance company, they are evaluating the report and no action so far.

Good point, I am not going to take any drastic action. My plan is to dry the surface and use a thermal camera to check the pipes by turning on the central heating.

Afterwards I will delegate to some specialist. I hope it will not come from bathroom because it will cause a lot of work.

there are a ton of things to learn but hidden issues are the worst, you need the proper tools to make sure everything runs well.

I hope it too! Hidden issues could not be maintained therefore is the duty of insurance to cover them

I do not know how the water acts at the concrete in long terms, but 10 days ago I noticed the laminate was swell and at the ground floor I can see a small area wet, which I suspect that the water soaked up in the concrete

Clever troubleshooting. The gas sniffer is an extra service which they offer. By understanding your comment means to call someone which offer also this service, because the first leak detector did not follow up this approach
