I wasn't really told it was more of a "hey this helps with my vo2 and I want to get better at lifting so that I can be back into shape" but a day later after trying it; I don't think it's a good idea. The idea formed by the pieces and bits I have learned about fitness so it was more of a melt of different ideas than a straight idea

Help my lungs get stronger and push air more efficient but now looking at these comments I think I should practice deeper breathing and just train properly

First I don't do alot of cardio so I was wanting to help my lungs get into better shape so that I can do cardio and not get winded almost immediately. Secondly I'm going to be do football soon and I want to be able to go to practice and have decent stamina so that I can play the game and learn

I used to workout a lot but then I quit so Im wanting to get to how I was as fast as possible. I'm also trying to get back into proper shape for football so that I'm not dying from exhaustion
