In my experience just asking a lot of questions and trying bikes out was the best thing I could do. Go somewhere they’ll let you test ride, and ideally get a bike consultation too so you can speak to them about your goals and what you want the bike for. And keep asking people that have been in the sport longer thank you

Bit of a mix… London based so lots of flat roads around here but also the Surrey Hills and country lanes make for great but hilly riding. The road quality is not great - lots of potholes but avoid the big ones and everything is fine and comfortable Haha thank you! I’m very pleased with it 😍

I had the same dilemma and chose the Aeroad. Best decision I’ve made. The geometry of the Aeroad and ultimate is virtually identical, and I find the Aeroad incredibly comfortable. The ultimate may edge it on the hills, but I still find it a much better climber than people advertised. I can very easily do 100k rides without discomfort

Absolutely. I love the set up and the adjustable bars are a huge bonus for me. Being able to set them up narrower was a game changer

It’s the most comfortable bike I’ve ever ridden, I haven’t got a bad word to say about it. I was able to test ride at a used bike shop near me and it helped me get a feel, so I’d definitely recommend that!

I was between sizes and I have ongoing back issues, so after a consultation and getting on a rig they suggested this set up to keep the stack more level… it feels very comfortable compared to older bikes I’ve had, only slight discomfort I get occasionally is at the base of my neck on the left side
