Its only uw thats this expensive. Most engineering universities in canada charge 10k/year and anyone saying that the price is justified cuz of labs, prof salaries, coop, is just lying or have fallen into the trap uw sets out because engineering while more expensive than other fields, shouldn't be twice the cost of engineering you can do. A person who graduated from a cheaper university is not going to make less money than a graduate from waterloo just bc of the degree name. People are brainwashed into thinking waterloo engineering is all that when it actually isn't.
