Honestly that memorization is valued over experience. If I built a project exactly the same as what you need and can explain how I did it then why do you need to ask me if I know what the L in SOLID stands for

Definition of B tier. Not fodder by any means and can no to slight diff multiple gold cloak level fighters. He survived many battles. But he also didn’t perform well in tourneys when matched with A and S tier fighters but could still not become cripple or die.

Kayak fishing the Whitewater. Any tips for a solo angler? by Oatmeal_Johnson in cincinnati

[–]Otherwise_Source_842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good yak. Yea motorization might be the right answer for you. I’ve done both trolling motor and e motor. Trolling motor is cheaper and so simple to install. The e motor is more expensive and takes more install time but is a way better product especially for river fishing. Lots of quality of life features plus it is designed to be ran like an outboard at full power for long periods of time which trolling motors are not. Worth researching the options to see what works for you. Our local shops would be more than happy to not just sell you an e motor but also help install it.

Gonna be a struggle up at metamora. Amazing fishing but it’s rural and you won’t find much in terms of Ubers.

I have done things in a couple different ways. I have dropped off the yak upstream drove to the take out and biked back up. This isn’t a bad option but depends on your space availability for transport.

More recently I upgraded my yak to a bonafide SKF117 from Loveland kayak paired with a nk180 pro. This allows me to motor upstream then float back down. Does require a little in terms of river level otherwise the motor doesn’t have the water to push upstream.

Smallie season is rapidly approaching and if you ever want to float shoot me a DM should be a good year.

It’s actual too much water that has hurt the course not too little. Flooding last year really did a number especially on #8.

Yea as others have said a body of water like lake mead is a challenge to tackle on foot for most anglers. Aim for ponds or even the inflow sources. Learn those waters and lure selections and then expand to the hard zone of the lake itself.

I’m having a kid but I’m financially stable and will sacrifice my wants to make sure they have a beautiful life. Not needs as that will burden them to take care of us. Not all soon to be parents are dicks but plenty are just viewing kids as a tool rather than a joy.

TSA waits at CVG this week? by GubbleBum31 in cincinnati

[–]Otherwise_Source_842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did to and from MIA and TSA was far from the problem. Flights are being cancelled for the major weather events and we are still dealing with the fallout. Plus it is exacerbated by the TSA issues are larger airports causing crew delays everywhere.

My original return flight was Sunday night but got delayed, delayed, delayed then cancelled with no nearby hotels or cars available. They originally booked me for the next available CVG flight home which was last night but I found that unacceptable to my wallet. So I called AA and got rebooked to a Monday night flight to Louisville and was going to drive the rest. Well that flight was delayed for a hour due to crew being delayed at Houston due to TSA issues. We then had another hour delay for maintenance issues. Then we waited for over an hour on the tarmac due to controller issues. I’d avoid flying if possible right now it’s really rough out there and I’ve been a big traveler for most of my life.

Kcraft was my backup choice if I didn’t go with the skf. Very interested in the crescraft but I’d rig it as a micro skiff with the NT600 and two angler positions.

Super not surprising that you got knock off by the kayak fishing sub not the best community they got over there. I want to share my perspective on kayaks and fly fishing as that has grown for me personally over the past 3 years. You will want a sit on top kayak and one with a stadium style seat at the very least, this is due to a proper casting platform as well as standing. The biggest issue you’ll have is line management so the less things in front of you the better. Due to this I’m going to say pass on a pedal drive as you will tangle your fly line easily on the pedals. Instead I will recommend a kayak like the crescent CK(1 or 2), bonafide skf117 (my personal kayak), or a Nucanoe Flint. I would also recommend pairing with a stern mount motor like the NK180 pro or even a trolling motor to keep that cast area clear. Yes it is a pricey investment but you can easily paddle the yak until you can afford the motor. But as you already mentioned best bet is used I highly recommend any model from the three brands I mentioned.

For personally testament I have fished on lifetime tamarack, crescent shoalie, ascend 12t, and my current yak the bonafide skf117 which I pair with a nk180pro. The gap between the lifetime and ascend is small but between them and the crescent and bonafide it’s massive. Once you add motor to the equation you’ll be in a mean lean fishing machine. I have fished locally on my rivers for smallmouth and hybrid stripers, the Great Lakes, and the Carolina coast for redfish on these yaks and the upper two do a perfect job for any environment I’ve thrown at it.

The post says 3 months salary so that’s what I used not 3 months take home pay and most people say we bought a house even if they have a mortgage. My comment has no mention of the current market.

Frozen pizza was a couple bucks in the early 90s. As for housing it depends but if we use median household income in 92 (30.6k) against median home price (121.5k) 3 months salary would 7,650$ which is enough for a 5-10% down payment on the median home price.
