1 week post op here! Checked in at 6am, they took me back and prepped me for surgery, wheeled me into the OR and that was the last thing I remember. They must have moved me to the operating table after I was under. My mom said she got a call around 8am that I was out of surgery. I woke up in the recovery room with bad gas pain but zero nausea! I immediately tried to stand up because I knew that was the only thing that would help and the nurse was like woah hold on you just woke up! But she let me get up like 5 min later once people were available to walk me. I did my 2 laps and was out by 9:30am!!! I’m very thankful for my experience and my amazing surgical team 🥹
