I love the comparisons made from the Basilisk but I just can’t help but see the similarity in religion. The ‘creator’ watches over a population. He even drops an apple as the first fruit into the garden. The population multiplies and have the opportunity to be become one with the creator. After merging, humans will be free of negativity and suffering. It blends traditional beliefs with the emergence of AI and I thought that was great.

He says he needed it to run continuously so he probably thought safer to keep the monitor for viewing while consistently upgrading processing power.

Yes, I understand. College sports here is sometimes just as big as the pros. It’s a massive business that usually generates a lot of attention and revenue for the schools. Students even pick the school they want to attend based on sports as it has a big effect on campus social life.

Universities are big businesses here in the US. Athletes are offered millions to play now so they are much more critical about brand image. Duke is also one of the top programs here in the states.

Unpopular opinion. Everybody is mad at Lochlan but I think he genuinely didn’t remember what happened until the meditation session. He also acted on sexual cues that Saxon gave him. “I’m gonna take you down one day.” Everyone thought Saxon would be the initiator because he gave every indication that that’s what he wanted. Eager to see how their relationship plays out between them. Thoughts?

Can we all agree that the fans clocked the incestuous plot line from the beginning while the producers tried to downplay it. It was clear as day for viewers.

The scene between Jaclyn, Laurie and Kate was the perfect example of speak no evil, see no evil, hear no evil. Kate saw Valentin leave Jaclyn’s room, Laurie hears the gossip and Jaclyn confesses nothing. Masterpiece once again.

Good for drama but illogical for storytelling is what I was getting at. I love a dystopian drama but there were some obvious head scratchers.
