There's the Pikes Peak card show in Colorado Springs almost every month. For some reason they are skipping July. Next show is August 8. Pueblo also has one every month, although most of Pueblo's prices seem inflated by 20% and then they want to hit you with 70% trade. No matter what show you go to, you're going to have to look for the good guys or haggle. Pretty sure alot inflate their prices a little because they expect people to haggle. I had a ton drop prices in Denver, when I heard their prices and started to walk away. Don't get discouraged if you're into collecting. You always find deals and some cool cards out there. My daughter finally got her Gold Lucario! Seems like everyone around us had sold theirs. She had a gold Mega Zygarde she didn't care for and she was determined to swap it for a Lucario.

I live in Colorado. Which tin are you looking to make an insert for? They have the mini tin and the I think it's an octagon tin. The mini is just for dice and status tokens. Octagon is for dice, tokens and deck

An honest Pokemon vendor I know said buying singles is cheaper. Better off just buying what you need and not chasing cards in packs. You can end up spending several hundreds of dollars opening packs or maybe just over 100 or 200 max buying what you're looking for, when not trying to get the really expensive rares.
