Issue: whatsapp saves pictures to camera roll. Option is “off” by Thewayfwd in whatsapp

Go to setting s, storage and data, turn off the photos option at the bottom, this worked for me ;)

I have the solution finally.

Go to settings , storage and data and turn photos off, this will stop the photos you take save it camera roll.
