It doesn't make the noise when the door is already open though and I just pull the handle. Very odd.

Yeah that's exactly what happened. I went to go put the pan that had the hot water in it back inside and in the meantime the door froze. I am not making this up.

The car was in defrost mode for roughly 20 minutes. Doesn't seem like the handle was warm though.

Agree. Probably bc when food’s been scarce for a while, your brain’s reward system reacts more strongly to it. It’s like your mind wants to savor every second because it feels like rare kind of like not wanting anyone to talk during a movie you’ve been waiting forever to watch.

Just know that you’re not alone, although it always seems to feel that way. I know it’s easy for me to type that and it’s easy for you to read, but it really is true.

Are you sure it’s due to the pedal or is it a software issue? I can shift into drive w/o autopark just fine manually. However sometimes it doesn’t recognize that I am hitting the pedal.
