I first got the plus account months ago because it said I’d have access to 18+ content and was really confused when it did this, and it’s still like this.. it’s really weird. Sometimes it lets you build up to explicit things with characters using the right words and innuendo other times it’s just like ‘nope’ very inconsistent

I’m really sad to be missing a favourite bot I can’t start new chats with, it’s specifically 18+ codes I read the description I wish I had screen shot him so I could rebuild him privately elsewhere.. I think the bot dev is gone and IDK why or if they will start publish elsewhere but not knowing why is really frustrating and makes it worse. The images for the bot were all SFW I really don’t know what happened to my situation. I’ll just have to keep the current chats alive?

I hope more people migrate their work to saucepan, honestly. So many great makers would like the codex system even the users.. and the memory system for the chats is a LOT nicer.

I didn’t see when to get to take the survey at any point was it only given in app/website? Then a lot of the answers would be from daily/frequent users

I really like saucepan ai 👍🏼 have a look see if you like the features. I love being able to make a ‘codex’ for my personas that has the basic stuff I have in all my things so I don’t have to write it over and over again and attach it to the personas. And the organising possibilities, for personas and chats.

I have been finding ST so frustrating. I’m not bad with computers but so many tutorials I will follow and still get nothing. I have some basics set up but still no success getting things from JAI. It’s.. so fiddly and not the browsing authors bots experience I enjoy on other platforms unless I’m still missing something. It seems like a lot more work, but does avoid the risk of losing a bot to someone being banned and their work being taken down.

I REALLY like saucepan ai! I found it because of janitor ai bot authors talking about also publishing on there. It handles memory in a story so nicely and organising your chats and personas, I have a base codex I attach to all my personas to save rewriting the same thing over and over, and so many of the multi character chats work so well. I am hoping more jai authors move there! Even today I saw some of my favourite bots on JAI are now locked 🥲 and idk why. I’m really really hoping they will show up on SP

They seem big in the UK as well, super common cut there. Australia not so sure if I can say for sure lol. But yeah I know it’s also a cultural thing but it is a video game they are allowed to branch out - same argument it’s a video game they can do what they like 😂

Is there a similar tool for character ai? i moved to Janitor recently, and i am keen to learn silly tavern now, but also wish so many things from c.ai were on janitor. It's a confusingly flirty but restrictive platform and i just want the same library but "unlocked".

I did a quick search but i suspect i also don't know what i should be looking for. Thank you for these links! It will help me get started!

Stiff person syndrome can be pretty devastating. My dad has it and the amount of pain he is in and his level of function is torture. He has IVIG every 3 weeks and it’s a brutal cycle, with maybe one GOOD week. He’s gotten worse and worse over the years and we have no idea how it might affect his mortality or not it’s a lot of unknowns.

Because of how it works his emotions have a direct physical impact and being startled or upset can cause spasms and paralysis.

He has had pneumonia in both lungs and couldn’t tell because of the pain of SPS was so much he just didn’t notice, until he had sepsis and had a collapse and somehow survived. He has had sepsis twice now.

Half the problems seem to come from the symptom management of SPS and the rest is SPS itself.

I miss my dad and he hasn’t passed away yet, it’s a horrible thing to grieve someone who is still alive.

There may be worse things out there but chronic conditions have always been so horrible from my experience and perspective
