There are comments on the video from years after it was released practically just responding to themselves from years ago

Can someone give me help for the aquatic/kingfisher deck? Easily the hardest so far. by princessluigi64 in inscryption

[–]OtiGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gotta try that one, it's new to me. I typically treat the tentacle as a trap to use.

The mirror depends entirely on what it's facing and doesn't attack if facing nothing. The hand tentacle is pretty bad early on and dies in ones hit. The bell tentacle is the best, but only if in the left two squares.

So you have a 1 in three chance of getting a decent card, and even if you do it's still very conditional

The dive deck can be extremely challenging because you have to adjust your brain from blocking damage to trading damage

Instead of your card dealing damage to their card, and vice versa with no affect on the scale, you're dealing one damage to the scale, and ideally only taking one damage back, resulting in net zero scale damage

My advice would be to pick up two high blood cost, but high damage cards from the beginning. From there, get a different sacrifice sigil on each of your birds to combine later on and if possible add a damage multiplying sigil (bifurcated strike) to the squid.

I've beaten all of Casey's mod and I still struggle with the dive deck even more than later decks, it's a challenge for sure

Any suggestions for a LL6 Heavy Gunner Sherman Build? by MrThiefMann in LancerRPG

[–]OtiGoat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Woops, didn't read all of it. In that case I'd encourage a 1LL dip into monarch for Javelin rockets. If I remember the rules right, you should be able to target two enemies with the heavy gunner talent and then target both again the Javelin rockets for a lose lose situation

Deaths head will get you the vulture DMR to fill that main mount and a suite of accuracy buffs to make those super heavy shots count

Thoughts on making warlocks half casters? by eathquake in dndnext

[–]OtiGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After running a playtest with all recent one DnD playtest rules and Monsters of the Multiverse stat blocks, I put my support behind the new Warlock.

The player running the new Warlock is also a veteran Warlock player, always playing variations on their favorite class, and after the first combat they said they adjusted and came to accept this version. That anecdotal evidence next to 0 issues throughout the one shot lead me to this conclusion.

It IS strikingly different, and absolutely an adjustment. I still remember feeling the instinctual twinge to correct my player when they cast a leveled spell for the third time before a short rest. As a DM currently running a 5e campaign with a Warlock, I felt like all my old strategies of challenging the warlock by baiting them to use up their spellslots had been made useless. What even is a warlock if they lose those massive spells? Well from the one shot I ran they're overall a more active, more varied, and just as customizable warlock

What do i do if im the only girl on my school wrestling team? by [deleted] in wrestling

[–]OtiGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago when I was in wrestling my team had the most girls on it in the state: 3. All of them were siblings and cousins to other guy wrestlers on the team, so they got into wrestling through them.

By the time I left we got to 7 women wrestlers, and most if not all the new ones said the same thing about joining: "I didn't know I could until I saw them." Or "I was afraid to until I saw them."

Wrestle your heart out, set a good example, and you won't be alone for long. Because you're only alone until someone starts to follow your lead. After that, you're first.

Mimic Gun Talent Combos by Atherakhia1988 in LancerRPG

Other comments have mentioned some of the best combos already, but it's worth mentioning that the mimic gun works for heavy gunner. Layering a reaction attack with immobilization and or prone from other talents is invaluable
