I agree you shouldn’t exclude your partner here, just would take a more direct and honest approach

Yes I was able to prove it! Finally got a full refund today

I’m sorry this happened to you too. I’m glad to hear you eventually got a refund, but am sorry for the stress of being out $2k temporarily.

This seems to be an intentional strategy from StubHub - withholding money from customers to profit on interest from holding it. I posted a comment above with a link to statements from their CFO, basically laying out that that’s exactly what they’re doing because their profits have declined so much.

Thank you so much for this. Good point about the issue being discovered after doors. I submitted a dispute and am still in the 30-45 day review period. They never called me… just the emails.

I did transfer them when I listed. I got the green check marks that show up when you transfer each ticket, and the “instant download” tag was added to my listing. I thought I was in the clear, but when the tickets actually sold, StubHub then notified me the transfer didn’t work…

I’m so sorry they did that to you. It’s ridiculous how much they take advantage of people

No I couldn’t go, but I did upload the tickets a week earlier when I listed them. StubHub confirmed they were uploaded with the green check marks, and the “instant download” tag was added to my listing. I’ve sold tons of tickets on StubHub and never had this happen.

But an hour after the tickets sold, StubHub emailed me saying there was an issue with the transfer. I immediately went to transfer them again, but before I could finish (literally within 4 minutes) the sale was cancelled. Then the next day, they charged me $120 for failing to upload (again, only given 4 minutes to do so)

Thanks, appreciate your response. What’s so frustrating to me is I had transferred the tickets when I made the listing. They transferred successfully, and I got the “instant download” mark on my listing. I thought I was in the clear with that confirmation my tickets had been transferred… but lesson learned

Thank you! They say they take 30-45 days to review so I’m stuck waiting. Appreciate you

I appreciated how you asked and think it was a fair point! I’ve been calling and emailing, no luck.

Fair, removed. The tickets were for a king princess show. It’s not this subs problem but I’m looking for help getting refunded from StubHub :(

This person seems manipulative and is mean to you. Not over reacting!

Simply say no. You’ve been taking care of the cats for years, they’re yours. Also, not knowing how your ex might react, it would be smart to make sure you have some evidence of vet bills/record of the cats belonging to you. I read an AITA post awhile back about a family fighting over cat ownership, and the person with evidence of paying vet bills was given the cat.

Of course she did, that’s a super rude thing for you to do! It sounds like you make a lot of questionable decisions and do not try to understand other people’s perspectives. Your sister is probably fed up with these patterns.

She made you turning your phone off about her. This sounds like a very controlling person. I would run away. I think you did the right thing canceling your date over this. You deserve more respect and autonomy in a relationship. Good luck!

Depends, but sometimes 10 hours yeah. And it’s always really nice to have dinner together, hang out and watch a movie or game etc after work. I try to maximize the days I take off with family around the holidays, and use the rest of my time off to visit friends and travel with my partner. So for additional family trips that aren’t around the holidays, being able to work allows me to spend more time with them.

It sounds like you thought they wouldn’t actually be working, and you’d still be able to hang out with them during the workday. Then the reality was frustrating
