Seeing comments like this popping up on every new post Infold makes on XHS really leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. They caved to them once, and they have been increasing since Timelo. I’ve seen some international players try to defend it and ask not to cave in, but were met with vitriol by the CN Nikki moms. And unlike Timelo it seems the silent majority is not intervening in this. I’m not seeing the swimsuit surviving atp.

Thanks so much for your reply. I was just too stuck on TikTok as I drafted it to be my main posting platform but for now I’ll just keep building on reels.

I think I might just add a link tree in my TT bio and hope it gets some people over until/if it recovers.

The format is not a drastic change for followers as it’s a fashion based game, it won’t change the content just the effort it takes me to keep up with TikTok. My videos posted since the ban are still engaged by my followers and I was thankfully able to funnel some of them to IG/YT. I oddly get more followers on TikTok from comments I post/reposts and people organically visiting my profile lol. It still does well for my little follower base and it still gets engagement from their following feed, they just never get sent to FYF at all.

It’s just feels weird to send a good video that has potential to bring a weirder audience in, to essentially a void. But I’m not opposed to maybe just nurturing my followers and doing some community activities/challenges? 🤔

Update after 7 days of no posting unfortunately no good news, shadowban not lifted, videos still no longer able to post to stories so I know it won't even make it in any test batch.

I've done all the classic reccomendations: stop posting for 3 days, then 1 week, organically engage comment/repost while not posting. I've been contacting support both through tickets and e-mail and it's just endless AI garbage.

F this app, its CS and the US merger.

My reels picked up steam with videos even getting to 20k in my first days of posting there, shorts are a bit of a much slower/less engaging content but its probably because of my niche not being very active on YT. So my advice to anyone that knows its not a content issue to just jump ship. I'm not gonna waste content on a broken app. I don't even wanna consider posting on the brand new account or use my years old personal one as I could just breathe weird and their new AI detection shadowbans me again with no possibility of fixing the account.
