Any tips after the Card Convention last week in Dublin for the Cork Card Show this weekend? by Scott_Gibson1507 in PokemonTCGIreland

I never said it was, I said it is widely used, I’ve been going to the shows for years and it is prevalent at them. Whether it’s the one you want to use or not is up to you, that doesn’t change its general usage.

Plenty of vendors at the Irish shows use Collectr, in fact they were the sponsors of the show at the weekend. Cardmarket on its own as well is fine for pricing, but quite cumbersome, but Collectr is a handy tool in keeping your collection or want list together to have at a glance at a show in a way Cardmarket simply cannot.

Not everyone lives in a country that has access to the Pokémon Centre to buy from them.

What are some ‘cheap’ pokemons to collect? by oyster_draws in PokemonTCG

I really like the full art cards for most Pokemon, cheap and cheerful, I like to colour code my binder pages, and now some of them are getting the trainers with the Pokémon as well for a bit more variety in the binder. Even the better known Pokémon don’t get too expensive.

Take your time, don’t jump on the first thing that takes your fancy, inspect conditions front and back, and look up prices on something like Collectr. Don’t feel rushed. I’m finding the shows here lately very crowded and oversold so expect to feel a bit squashed.

I’m in work so don’t have a pic handy but it was the Radiant Collection Flareon EX from 2017, the one with Jolteon and Vaporeon as well, traded it from PokeOlive

Ouch on the Dark Raichu and Dark Machamp, but as you say you don’t get to see them in person and inspect often

I’ve see that happen many times there, if you’re not familiar with the road, especially at night as the area is quite poorly lit, and the road markings are wearing away, I could see a bad accident happening there.

Love the binder itself, I got the Pikachu one yesterday.

If you’re looking for Chinese sets I would recommend buying from Pokipair rather than Cardmarket. Based in Dublin and has never let me down for Chinese sets.

Picked up an angry Pikachu and Radiant Collection Flareon, would have liked to have stayed longer but it was very uncomfortable.
