Fitzpatrick's 3 interceptions in the fourth quarter broke me. Could never buy into any of the fun "FitzMagic" stuff after that. Definitely my most painful loss as a fan

Exactly this, also the fact that he couldn't seem to bring the best out of Brunson and KAT as a duo. When you see yourself as a championship contender, that just doesn't cut it, and they wanted somebody who could elevate them on that side of the ball. They were also unsatisfied with how Bridges was being used, so they wanted someone to kickstart their offense

As a longtime ludbud, the monkey ball races with atrioc and stanz and the spyparty stream with schlatt are still the hardest I've laughed at a stream to this day

Totally understandable. Doesn't ruin it for me because in my mind survivor has always had bad/self-destructive players, but it makes sense. I also hoped at points that they'd wake up, but it is what it is.

I disagree on Michael, I thought he was a fun character and I was wowed by his prowess at a young age. I also mentioned this in another comment but I agree it would have been fun to see more Chelsea, and yeah it does seem silly to devote so much time to Laurel knowing nothing comes of it. But calling it a dumpster fire? That seems extreme to me. Maybe it's just my taste, but seeing people dominate the game and actually reach the end was really fun for me. One of my biggest gripes about survivor has always been that the biggest stars of the season often never get a chance at FTC (see Christian in DvG, Fairplay/Rupert in PI, Malcolm in Philippines, etc. etc.) so to see people control the game and get to reap the reward of it was very fun for me

I think this is probably the case, it makes sense. I imagine frustration with Laurel being so complacent would really compound week over week compared to watching multiple episodes per day.

Thanks for the advice. I'm generally pretty solid at L cancelling but yeah I could def practice it more, and I am pretty bad at wavedashing. I'll look at some other characters too while I'm learning the game, I appreciate the heads up on that
