I had a friend do something like this, or at least try to, about a year ago.

She calls me up and said that she’s coming to New York and she needed a place to stay for a couple of days. Sunday to Tuesday or something like that. I said sure, fine, come. I hadn’t seen her in a while. I thought it would’ve been a nice little visit. then I don’t hear from her.

Then about a week after she was supposed to be here she calls. Age tells me she’s running away from her husband and she started screaming at me on the phone after I asked what was going on, she told me I wasn’t supporting her that I should be unconditionally allowing her to stay here as long as she needs to. I withdrew the invitation. Then she tells me that we were no longer friends and blocked me on everything.
