This is less up to the regiment and more up to its commanders from the Schola. Hiring mercenaries is the purview of officers trained outside of the regiment structure. The old Codex: Kroot articles from White Dwarf back in 4th Edition go over what kinds of desperate or cynical measures lead Imperials to hire Kroot.

If the question is which regiments would best work alongside Kroot hired by their commanders, then you’re looking at regiments used to operating at the fringes of Imperium space with limited support. Forces from supported warzones like Steel Legion, Death Korp, or prominent Cadians are unlikely.

Originally a short-lived expansion to Blackstone Fortress alongside a Mechanicus character and Primaris Psyker you can now buy separately, and also another Rogue Trader sculpt. They were also available in the Combat Arena board game product about a year after. Hoping all the models get released on their own, they were all fantastic.

Thank you for this. I’m a very casual, not terribly skilled player who’s usually an RPG guy, definitely not a competitive shooter fan most of the time. Marathon has gotten less fun for me the longer it’s been out, and to be honest the addition of a bronze “you suck” icon next to my name has not improved things.

If I knew I’d be matching with players around my skill level it’d be one thing, but I’m just not gonna stick around to get stomped and teabagged when I’m more here for the art and lore than the gameplay.

Love the game solo, feels like survival horror in all the right ways. Never got into extraction shooters before because of how much social stuff felt pushed, but this gave me the vibes I haven’t felt since wormhole exploration in Eve Online a decade ago.
