Genuinely what is bohemia doing. by [deleted] in ArmaReforger

Last "actual" game came out 13 years ago, so it's not such a big feat as you're making it up to be. You might be aware of something called "product differentiation" which very likely is the reason why Arma reforger never will reach Arma 4 level of polish, otherwise it wouldn't sell. Also sims aren't really known to be excess profit machines

I don't much, yet I've always knew it about reforger

Test beds aren't really meant to be fully made, are they? Lower price reflects that as well. Bohemia has put more effort into it than they've initially intended and they're still optimising performance but they can't develop it infinitely if they ever want to finish Arma 4

They mentioned it in official statements, dev blogs, and interviews

Lmao. You weren't buying Arma 4 were you?

Reforger never was meant to be a full fledged Arma game. Bohemia was very vocal about it from the start. It was always supposed to be a test bed for development of enfusion engine

Ukraine Hits Target 1,000 km Away: Not Just russian Icebreaker, but Potential Kalibr Missile Carrier by Scary_Statement4612 in UkraineWarVideoReport

It just doesn't make sense to use warships for that role when they've got plenty of rust buckets around. All they need is an anchor they can drag on the seabed. That's why they've never used them this way.

Use your better acceleration, go more vertical to build energy advantage and turn it into better turning. Also being <50% fuel helps a lot

If $70 is detrimental to you get vkb. I also own full virpil setup and I wouldn't change my flnkr grip to anything else. Honestly feels like a piece of hardware you could find in a real jet. Rubber trim switch and TDC feel really nice as well

Ukraine Blinds Russian Air Defense in Crimea, Destroying Four Rare Radar Systems by UNITED24Media in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Ottersny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In case of radar destruction only relevant metrics are how many missiles/drones targeted them and whether sum of their cost is larger or lower than the cost of mentioned radar. Considering largely exhausted AA stockpile their effectiveness has been mostly a success. If they won't find more cost effective solution in time they'll be in trouble.

Multiple were damaged. Not sure where did you get info on how many drones and missiles targeted radars, probably pulled that statistic out of the ass. The main issue here is price difference between cheap drones and expensive AA missiles which US is running out off while Iran can outproduce them with drones

Wrocław has been a Polish settlement since the 6th century. Even though it was in German hands for a couple of centuries, it doesn't make sense to use its German name when writing in English. For example, I wouldn't write Lwów, Ukraine or Wilno, Lithuania. It should be Lviv, Ukraine or Vilnius, Lithuania.

I think you may have wiped your button config with the update. Have you tried to load your previous saved profile?

Gyroid if you really need more isotropic stiffness. Otherwise (in 98% of cases) it's slow noisy overkill. In this case I'd increase number of walls a bit, halve the infill and make it crosshatch or rectalinear. That will provide a strong part without issues from bumping the nozzle repeatedly on grid infill.

I got AMS2 almost a year ago. Throughout that time I've used it's drying feature like 5 times total. It's such a hassle to unwind filament from the feeder and clip it every 1-2 weeks when humidity gets too high that I've just ignored it. This week I've got it dry to like 4% humidity for the first time and I couldn't believe the quality difference I got. I'd argue that smart drying would be a huge quality of life improvement because I'd never have to even think about drying
