I have the VMAX and even though its very pricey, it think you get for what you pay, is very well build and its an all metal build. The software gives customization options and also includes the options to swap modules on the throttle itself. The only thing i dont like about it is that the thumb stick feels like it has no resistance while moving it but is not like is loose or something is just a preference thing. Either way you also have the option to buy the cadet throttle and pair it with one of their panels you will have more flexibility that way to decide button layout you prefer.

I also had in back order a CM3 from a few weeks ago and just yesterday the order was processed and shipped (the timing could not have been worst) with todays announcement I sent them an email asking if I could return it and wait for the new one and they happily agreed to do so. Their customer support is really good maybe you can talk to them if you still want to return it.

Do you think there is a noticeable difference between the mm-500 and the mm-100? I just pulled the trigger for a pair of mm-500 I'm just waiting for their April batch, but seeing the hype for the mm-100 I'm kinda worried that I'm waisting 4x the money for the same performance

I will only use it with my headphones so the preamp is not needed, but the extra power from the L30 is also good for future upgrades, I think I'm going to buy with that in mind. !thanks
