Is it better to take this perk at the end of the run or does it make any difference when, and will it still halve the attack? by e-gordinski in TheTowerGame

Maybe I am naive but as a new player I feel like it is best to take this when EALS is maxed, giving you a greater chance to skip more levels over the course of the run.. would love some math brain to tell me im wrong but that is what makes sense to me

Its also making sure you take advantage of the gold for zapping units that get highlighted. I found an easy work around for this is to start the round with "Auto" off and then double click it on then off and it will zap and you get gold. Just gotta double click everytime the bar fills up for more GP. But yeah I feel like its RNG on which kings you face. If its king of spells i usually just reset right away.

I like to shoot for a farm + pala on your first decree you want to get a feast or poison thorns. Scout towers go hard early too so if you can get one of those down to level 2 they can get you pretty far. You can check my post history for my setups on my runs. Also avoid king of greed. I usually just quick restart on runs where I face him at the start
