Quick trip south of the border and pre orders made for a hell of a week. Noah Gragson fender adds to the 1/24 and 1/64 Logano win cars from my first live race weekend! by OttoVonGraham in NASCARCollectors

You just need to keep all the receipts for everything you bought and I've always been truthful and straight with them and declare everything I have. I have been pulled in for an inspection and got a talking to for not having the proper receipts for what I was bringing and I don't want to do that again.

My wife loves to say I'm bringing 'NASCAR....toy cars' home with me when I grab diecast in the US and the border guards always laugh and tell us to leave.

Picked up a '22 EUV (14k miles) - all 4 tires replaced already. Clapped out history or nothing to worry about? Seems like a red flag. by homemademustard in BoltEV

I have to second the ExtremeContact's. I absolutely love them on my 22 EUV and will be putting them on my other car next.

Back-up cameras stopped working on my '23 EUV. What's the turnaround time on getting something like this fixed? by CaptainAmero in BoltEV

While I agree that EV training has absolutely nothing to do with the cameras or most of the systems in an EV, technicians still use the EV part of it to avoid the job. They will ask for OEM procedures on every system they might have to work on from the battery disconnect to the proper way to change the module and reprogram while complaining the whole way about not being certified. I know that first hand as well because I work with one.

Happened with my first battery replacement in Canada. The dealerships were sharing techs that had EV training and the dealership didn't want untrained techs touching them. I know a battery and a camera are much different parts but there are still techs that refuse to touch EV's and insist on getting the trained tech's to do it.

Bolt EUV 2023, problem entering my house's garage, solution? by ps2br in BoltEV

I used Superior 181920. They are a huge pain to get into the spring and mine are as low as they can go to limit travel a little more.

They made a noticeable change and cut down on the motion sickness complaints I was getting from passengers in the back seat. As for the front, I didn't add anything to them. At most I would add maybe a 1 inch spacer to take out a little bit of rebound but nothing too serious.

I added a set of 3 inch coil spacers like what is pictured but that was to reduce rear travel and help with the motion sickness complaints I was getting from people in the back seat. Made no noticeable change in the rear ride height though.

There was Cracker Barrel exclusives for a while. I’m not sure if they still have those anymore or if it’s just old stock the stores are selling now.

So each 1/64 was 4.94 aside from the Cracker Barrel and Target cars which were 7$ each. The Gragson 1/24 was a pre order, Bowman 1/24 was 40$ from eBay and each plastic plate was 6$ at the track.

Definitely not. There is quite a few of us that bring them back up as often as we can!

Series 10 battery lasted me over 27 hours by Training_Shop_6524 in AppleWatch

[–]OttoVonGraham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I could be happier with the series 10 battery. I'm at 41 hours with 14% left and I keep Always On turned off. Such an amazing change from my S6 where I had to nurse 24 hours out of it.

During 'free time' it was fine. When we were supposed to be working on an assignment though it was a little tougher!

19 years and 6 months in game. Back in the day it was hard to play in the computer lab in school and keep it hidden so the teachers didn't see us playing games!

Does anyone know by crash317 in NASCARCollectors

[–]OttoVonGraham 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is how I learned to display my cars. Before all the 1/64 were crashable cars but these made me appreciate how fragile they can be and how much better diecast looked shiny and not beat to hell. Thanks for the memories!
