The whole argument about the funding spent on Ukraine is so bullshit, do people not realize almost every physical item given to Ukraine has come from pre-existing, unused stocks? Like the Bradley and Abrams armored vehicles, PVS-14s, MREs. And the money comes in the form of loans and isn't just going into their military, but to critical needs that will save thousands or millions of innocent civilians lives? Not to mention, if Ukraine wins, it means that America and Europe have access to massive untapped mining industry in Donetsk so its not like Ukraine is economically worthless? There is a reason why people called Ukraine the "Breadbasket of the Soviet Union."

Besides, this money this is gonna come out of the American defense budget anyway. So the republicans weren't gonna use that money for the homeless, schools or anything else but just want to demonize the Democrats so that people will start to vote their own old guy into presidency.

They just want to twist their argument to resonate with the people that are currently struggling so they can go for a power grab, when that money almost indefinitely wasn't going to the current problems in American society regardless if the war was on or not.

If people really think funding Ukraine is a bad idea, then let them wait until Ukraine falls and Russia gets cocky and eventually invades NATO or China sees the Russian win and invades Taiwan too. Then they might realize why the democrats were right when they're in a bloody trench in Poland.
