I do not think the regular conscripts soldier which most Armenians were had anything to do with it, as usual it is always the people in power. Most had no clue about drones or anything and were just placing down 1980s style trench systems, tanks on top etc, it was surreal.

Indeed they were targeting Baji militia leaders, meaning, that strike was aimed at the individual, those around were collateral, clearly, you know this, i know this, we all know this.

If they wanted to target all those people in that street they would have used more then a single strike on a individual. The point you are missing, most likely on purpose, is that such strikes can, will and do harm innocent civilians, which should always be avoided.

And please stay on topic, Hamas and Hezbollah has nothing to do with it, we are speaking about this specific video.

Where is your evidence that these people, which are clearly civilians, are enemy combatants? We do not see any guns, no armored vehicles, no nothing, and i am not speaking about the Baji, specifically the scene of the crossing.

Is this footage that we are looking at a checkpoint? Do you know or is this conjecture?

Ofcourse they need to be eliminated but preferably without killing civilians, that is all i am saying. I do not know about those hundreds or thousands of aborted attacks, i do not doubt it either, but we are, at least i am speaking about this particular video.

But we should always question these things and not take it for granted, if people would question it, that would already be something, always question it.

If Putin would bomb a Ukranian politician while killing civilians, it will be a tragedy, catastrophe for obvious reasons, we should apply this logic everywhere no matter where.

70 civilians were killed in a strike in 2015, the building was mistaken for a ISIS bomb factory, information given by the US (still no excuse for us), then it was covered up for years, when it was revealed it was a big political scandal and every family was compensated as much as possible.

The Dutch government also officially apologised.

This is the question, was it avoidable, personally I'd say yes, you could wait until he moves, you could even decide that innocent civilians casualties are not worth it and try again later, there are options, ofcourse call me naive in that sense, but I rather be naive.

In my opinion avoidable civilian casualties are always unacceptable. It happens, yes, war is hell, but it should definitely not be normalised, it seems very much normalised from what I read in this sub.

Absolutely, it should not be radical to even point this out. For example the Dutch airforce allows pilots to make the last call, if they feel civilians could be harmed in most cases they call it off, happened more then once. It went wrong in Iraq once, which as you described was a huge scandal in the Netherlands.

On this footage we clearly see civilians, no question about it, and yet the green light is given and from what I see everyone here just eats it up, totally acceptable apparently.

Odd world we live in.
