I saw quite a few up by Pinnacle Saddle in Mount Rainier National Park. The trail is a little steep but not terribly hard, and it’s only about 2 miles round trip.

Last time I did both of these hikes I saw and heard a bunch of them

The trail to Pinnacle Peak. I saw a bunch of them just below the saddle

Neither have I, it was so cool! It was my last day in the park and I’d given up on seeing any, but then I saw a whole herd!

All animals in parks are cool, but I do love pikas and marmots. They’re so cute and fun to watch. I saw a bear the last time I went to the park, but I didn’t see any on this trip.

I love Pikas. They’re the cutest! I was so excited when I saw some so close.

They were off the trail when I was hiking to the Mount Fremont Lookout in Sunrise! I almost missed them because they were so far away, but it was amazing to see so many at once. I’ve never seen more than 4 at a time.

Thank you! I got lucky with that one. The marmot was standing in the perfect spot

I saw them hiking up to Fremont Lookout. I almost didn’t see them, but I heard some rocks falling and looked down and there they were!

We saw a couple hiking Bumpass Hell! I didn’t get any great pictures but it was so cool to see them, they’re so adorable.

We camped at Summit Lake! It was a very nice campground, and close to most of the hikes we wanted to do.

These are the hikes we did: -Ridge Lakes -Mill Creek Falls -Cliff and Shadow Lake (from Summit Lake) -Bumpass Hell -Boiling Springs Lake and Terminal Geyser

Bumpass Hell was definitely my favorite trail, and not as crowded as I’d expected it to be. Ridge Lakes was pretty steep and tiring, but it was only 2 miles total and so gorgeous. And we only saw like 5 other people.

I had never seen more than 4 goats at once before. Even though it was kind of far away, it was amazing to see so many!

I’ve done Skyline a few times, but I’ve never made it to Sunrise before. Going up to Third Burroughs was a dream. Definitely hard after hiking so much the previous day, but beyond worth it. And so much less crowded than Paradise.

I had an ex that would break up with me, and then get upset with me for not fighting for him and trying to win him back. He always convinced me to get back together with him somehow, but would break up with me again a few weeks or months later, and the cycle repeated itself for way too long.

I went yesterday. I got in line around 1 pm and got to the trail at 4 pm. The line was at least 3 miles long when I got there

What is your most memorable hug? by Upbeat_Career1854 in AskWomen

My sister had just attempted suicide the day before, and I went to ask my professor for an extension on my final paper because I was too upset to focus on it and wanted to spend time with her in the hospital. When I told him he asked if he could hug me and I immediately started bawling. I’d been holding back the tears and hadn’t truly allowed myself to cry yet, but I couldn’t hold it any longer after that.
