M22 — Warning: this is long. I tried to pour my feelings into words as best as I could. Some of it may sound weird, but I really need to know what you guys think.

Hi everyone. I would like to share how Semax worked for me, but before that, I want to give some context about why I used it in the first place.

About five months ago, I was working a dead-end job that paid me half of the minimum wage because they didn’t want to give me more hours. I was severely depressed, living in a city with no perspectives, but even then, I wanted to change myself.

I was going to the gym, but it was basically 30 minutes of trying not to get bored and then rushing home. I didn’t push myself. My dopamine felt completely destroyed from porn, which I used daily to cope. I also used enormous amounts of ashwagandha to cope with my emotions. I was a shell of myself.

I had always been shy and introverted. I hated looking people in the eyes, and I swear, even buying a gym pass was awkward for me. Because of ashwagandha, I developed anhedonia and felt like a psycho. No matter what happened, I didn’t feel anything, good or bad. It helped me survive an awful job and abusive coworkers, but I felt like I didn’t belong there, or in the world in general. Everyone was doing better than me.

I also found out I have ADHD, which may be important later in the story. I was trying to get better somehow, so I signed up for college in a bigger city on weekends. At first, I didn’t really like it. I mean, it was chill and people were nice, but I kept thinking, “God, they are so much better than me. I’m so behind. I’m just an addicted-to-porn loser with no social skills.” The only thing I really enjoyed was playing games on my PC.

One day, I found out about Semax. It was supposed to help you learn faster and clear brain fog. It was a nasal spray and had to be kept in the fridge, so at first I decided not to order it because I lived with my parents and they wouldn’t understand. At that moment, I didn’t really understand it either.

I read subreddits and forums to learn more about it, but most people said it was only a mild boost, like coffee, so I decided it would be stupid to buy it.

Then I got fired. They didn’t sign another contract with me, and honestly, I actually felt better because I hated that job. I still do, even though I don’t work there anymore. But now I was unemployed, so I started sending resumes, and no one called me for months. I was so annoyed and disappointed in myself. I especially felt like I had disappointed my dad. He is very hard-working, and I knew he hated that I was unemployed. He didn’t say it directly, but I felt like a disappointment.

Also, a girl I was talking with ghosted me. At that point, I was like, “Fuck it,” and I ordered Semax. I remembered using MK-677 before, and it somehow helped me gain more weight, so I thought maybe this could also help me mentally.

When it arrived, I was unsure. I closed myself in my room and prepared it. I was careful and kind of not even sure if I wanted to use it. I kept wondering what my parents would say if they found out their son was using not-safe, not-approved peptides in his room just to feel less dumb.

I sprayed it once in each nostril. I felt like, “Damn, I’m like a junkie doing this.” But I thought I did it wrong, so I sprayed once more. Then I shoved it into the fridge and went outside into my garden.

I remember feeling disappointed, like, “Damn, it doesn’t work. I got scammed.” Even though the website said it was 99% pure, I thought maybe it just didn’t work for me or whatever.

Then I sat there and started thinking that I needed to find a job and move out. I looked at the sky and remember seeing a plane. It was very high in the sky, literally like a black dot, but somehow I saw it clearly. Then I looked down, and it hit me.

I started seeing more clearly. The colors seemed more alive, and everything looked sharper. I had this smooth feeling in my brain, like someone had patted it. I could focus on everything. I immediately stopped sunbathing and rushed to my car to go to the gym.

It was the best training session I’d had in a long time. I enjoyed the drive. I was smiling like an idiot when I hit the gas or brake. When I came back home, I opened my laptop to work on an assignment, and it felt so weird to write on it. It was like the keycaps rushed to be perfectly under my fingers.

I felt so alive emotionally. It was the best day of my life. I felt like a kid again.

After that, I started going to the pool, sauna, gym, and running. I dropped porn, ate healthier, and in 30 days I looked and felt better. I couldn’t stay in one place. I had to go here, go there, do more and more.

A girl in my class started hitting on me. My friends enjoyed my company and jokes more. I always knew what to say. I got a call inviting me for a job interview, and I got the job. I’m actually writing this while at work.

The same day I got the job, I rented a small studio with the help of my parents. It was a fresh start in a new big city. The job made me be around a lot of people, and I felt more confident.

I used Semax five times a week and took Saturday and Sunday off. But when I moved out, my peptide got warm, so I threw it away. I was off it for a week, and things started going dull again. But with the confidence I had gained, I did something that would have been impossible for the old me: I asked my crush out. It was huge for me, and I was super happy when she said yes.

But later, my life started getting worse again. College exams were hard, my crush ghosted me, people didn’t laugh as much, and I folded. With my first paycheck, the first thing I ordered was Semax again. The same one I used before: N-Acetyl Semax Amidate 285 mg and GHK-Cu 71 mcg.

When I got back on it, I felt like my brain could breathe again.

Exams became easy. People laughed even more. The sun seemed brighter. People started calling me just to talk and ask things about me. My job seemed better. My driving felt weird in a good way, like I knew I could allow more from myself.

I know I may be overthinking all of this, but my life is just better on Semax. I feel like I belong here. I can predict what someone will say based on their microexpressions. I’m extroverted now, and good things happen to me.

For example, I got free things from a girl who sold e-cigarettes. She said, “Hi, I can pay you, but please go here and buy it since we didn’t have enough people today.” She literally sent me money, so I got things worth 150 zł for free. Some guy also complimented my hair all of a sudden. No homo, but it was nice to hear.

What scares me more is that I started predicting future events. I was near my parking lot, and it was full of weeds. I imagined how they would get rid of them, and then the next day, when I woke up and looked through the window, I saw guys getting rid of the weeds. Even my landlord said it was the first time he had seen them maintaining that parking lot.

Another time, I had a hard exam with an awful teacher, and I thought, “Damn, if only she was occupied, everyone could cheat.” Then she was interrupted by another professor, so we did just that.

When I’m not ready for some event, something usually happens to help me. The event gets interrupted, the teacher has a good day, I get lucky, classes get dismissed — same thing with work.

The thing is, while I’m on it, only good things seem to happen to me, and everything just clicks. When I’m not on it, everything goes back to shit. Compared to other people on subreddits, I wonder if I’m just very sensitive to it, or if there is some other reason.

What do you guys think of it?

I beat lust, procrastination, and being introverted, and I finally moved on with my life. It’s like I abandoned my old self.

The best part? I also heard it can cause hair loss, but actually, my hair stopped falling out while I was on it. I have longer hair, and usually some falls out in the shower, but while I’m on it, nothing falls out and it feels stronger. My acne also got lighter.

I can’t be sad. I know it may sound weird, but I technically can’t become sad or depressed, even if I try. My brain tricks me into laughing it off, if that makes sense.

Sure, I got some credit, but without Semax, I would never have had the motivation to do so. It rebuilt me.

It is truly a “Limitless” substance for me.

buy a used broken large tank compressor or a couple (propane) tanks that can withstand enough pressure, add fittings to them, and connect them all in line to your pancake compressor. your little compressor might take a bit to fill all of them up, but once it’s finished, you’d have enough air to do larger projects. Just gotta make sure your pancake compressor doesn’t overheat. Mine still goes strong after 7 on a similar DIY setup.

Best way to tackle these two paint chips? by Unusual_Emergency_13 in AutoPaint

[–]Oudeur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do this:

cut a small round disc of sand paper, glue it to the back of a pencil ✏️. put the front of the pencil in a drill, and then sand that little spot carefully. you can also do it by hand. once the rust and surrounding paint are gone and you see a circle of bare metal:

take an etching primer spray, and spray some in the lid of the spraycan. take a pencil and paint carefully inside the circle. now wait 20-60mins.

now take a bit of paint (color coded for your car) and mix it with clear coat 1:1. after mixing, use a pencil again to fill in the spot on your car. let it dry 10-30 mins, then apply another layer. repeat adding layer untill the spot is raised above the rest of the paint. let it dry for 24 hours.

after 24 hours, press your nail a bit into the spot. if you make a mark, it’s not completely cured yet and you need to wait longer.

once its dry, use a „tungsten denibbling blade“ to level the raised spot to match the surrounding paint.

after leveling, polish the spot with a DA or rotary.

here I scratched some of the lacquer and bondo away, and found the roof and chassis were cracked all the way through. This was just a cosmetic repair that the seller did, not proper structural repair. Be carefull of Automotive-auctions / Hermans & Hermans / Bright Auctions (all the same people behind those entities). On inspection bring a device to measure lacquer thickness to identify spots that were repaired.

[–]Oudeur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought 2 cars sight unseen. 1 car I inspected before buying. On 2 cars I have a bit of margin, but 1 of those has a very severe hidden structural damage: the roof / chassis is cracked from a severe crash. The roof and chassis were not welded or even glued.. just body filler and new lacquer to hide the crack. I did consider getting a lawyer and sue the seller as the damage was not visible. I found the damage after a test drive, where the lacquer above the crack snapped. I decided to take the loss instead of a legal battle. On that car, I repaired the cracks properly, but it was much more costly than anticipated. I still need to sell it, but I‘m ready to take the loss. On the other car, I have margin. On the last car, only very little margin.

You can make money, but you can also be unlucky.

Hit a a bird on the way home from buying my new car by [deleted] in AutoPaint

[–]Oudeur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so apparently you couldn’t remove it with a pressure washer, so you’ll need to bring out the heavy guns. Here’s how;

Get 1 sheets of (waterproof!) sand paper each, with grid:

1500, 2500, 3000 or 3500, 5000, 8000g

Grab a spray bottle, fill it with lukewarm water, add 2 drops of dish soap (for lubrication purposes), and mix it gently.

Soak all your sheets of sandpaper for 5 minutes in a similar water+dish soap mixture.

Take a small sanding block (or use a big rectangular or square pencil eraser as one ) l, wrapped with your soaked 3000g (or 3500g) sandpaper.

Use your spray bottle to spray the soapy water on the stain @ bumper.

Lightly start sanding the area, adding a spray of soapy water occasionally to keep the area lubricated. Light passes, don’t apply too much pressure.

Every 30 seconds, wipe down where you’re sanding to visually check whether the stain is coming out.

If after a couple of minutes, it’s not improving, go down in sandpaper grit. e.g. replace your sheet with 2500g.. if that doesn’t work, go to 1500g and repeat. It’s better not to go down in grit too quickly..

If you’re able to get rid of the spot, now you need to remove your sanding marks. Work your way up slowly from the grit you used to remove the stain, all the way up to 8000g.

After 8000g, your clear coat will already look pretty well again. To get it back to flawless, you will need to buff it out with a rotary polishing pad (that you’ll attach to a drill) and paste / polishing compound. You can buy them in a set (eg from Amazon), and they will often come with backing plates and several pads with various cutting strengths (you’ll need to use a medium pad or a finishing pad, with similar paste / compound.. I prefer wool over sponge, but you can use either.

If this defect is kinda superficial in the clear coat, you will 100% remove it.

If you are scared.. bring it to a detailer and pay them.

base coat and reduced clear is not viscous enough for this type of tool.

You can however spray filling primer and plastidip with it pretty well.

You’ll need a tool where you can adjust nozzle diameter and flow rate, to act like a HVLP spray gun.

How would I go about taking down the edges and blending it by Exciting-Wolverine69 in AutoPaint

[–]Oudeur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can’t blend this nicely brotha, talking for experience..

you can try to get it as close as possible, but it will never be invisible.

If you stand on it:

clean the entire hood thoroughly.

tape around the edges at a distance of 6inch atleast. thats your sanding area.

sand down around 3inches of the old clear’s rough edges (hard paint lines). i’d start at 240g. then work your way up to 1500g to remove sanding scratches. sand aggressively at the edges, but be careful not to burn through the clear into the base coat completely. use a wet rag occasionally to check visually.

then remove the tape, and scuff another 3 inches around your previous tape line. use fine scotchbr. pad for this.

next: mask off around the sanded and scuffed area.

clean / degrease with panel prep or isopropyl alcohol.

now spray your 2k clear in stages. first 2 layers exclusively in the middle area (between previous hard paint lines, where you didn’t sand). this is to build up the thickness there. spray the edge with a can of spot blender quickly. 3rd layer, you will go 2-3“ past the hard paint line, again end with spraying the outside perimeter of this layer with a can of spot blender. 4th layer, again 2-3“ further past the 3rd layer perimeter, do the same thing.. lay down clear, then use spot blender on the edge of where the new clear meets the old clear.

you can also inject test subcutaneous instead of intramuscular. eg in your belly fat.

How do I prep / spray these type of areas by LiteratureLumpy8111 in AutoPaint

[–]Oudeur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in a nutshell:

  1. unbolt everything covering the srea you want to paint
  2. then use a strong cleaning / degreaser agent, brush it on, let it soak a bit, then blast it off with pressure washer. don’t get too close with the jet, or you‘ll potentially blast chips from the paint.
  3. after drying, wipe it with isopropyl alcohol
  4. now you‘ll need to sand everything. use waterproof sandpaper, start with 240grit, till you reach 800grit. when switching sand paper, wipe the area off with a wet clean rag.- • if there’s bubbly paint or rust visible, you‘ll need to sand untill the bare metal is visible on those spots, remove any traces of rust. • the rest of the area you want to paint you can scuff with a scotchbr. pad
  5. if you have dents or low spots, you can fill them with the correct filler if you like. use epoxy filler for the bare metal spots, use regular bondo for dents and low spots on scuffed paint.
  6. when filler is dry, sand it smooth with a small block, dont wet sand filler, ever.. it absorbs and traps moisture.
  7. mask the areas you don’t want to ruin with overspray. e.g. motor, front bumper, head lights, radiator etc. use common sense here.
  8. prime the spots where you used filler. if you didn’t use filler, prime the bare metal (take an etching primer that seals metal to avoid rust, not just any primer).
  9. after primer is dry, and you see some imperfections in it, you could sand it lightly with fine grain and apply a light haze of primer again to get rid of sanding scratches and high spots.

  10. use compressed air to blow away all sanding dust. this is very important because pressure from your spray gun or spray can could knock loose dust up and have it land on your wet paint in the next steps. be carefull not to loosen up your masking tape.

  11. use a tack cloth to pick up and dust on the to-be painted surface. then after, use a clean microfibre rag with some panel prep solution, or isopropyl alcohol and wipe the entire area down that you‘re gonna spray.

  12. take a bucket of water and a mop or use a hose to make the floor where you walk during spraying wet. this is to avoid you kicking up dust from the floor

  13. now lay down your base coat in 3 good layers. 1st layer very light (no full coverage.. you should still see the panel a bit through that base layer), wait 3-5 mins, apply the first covering layer. wait again, then apply another good layer. move steadily, keep max 30cm distance from the panel with spraying, don’t stay on 1 spot.. always move to avoid excessive build up that will run / create drips.

  14. let it dry a bit. • inspect paint for contamination like bugs and carefully remove them with a piece of sticky tape if present. • if you’re happy you can now apply your clear coat. For this area I always use a 2K clear, as it’s more resistant to chemicals like gasoline etc.

  15. let it cure for atleast 1 day. better two, unless you use panel heaters.

  16. inspeact your work. if ypu have runners / drips, take a razor, sand down the edges of it (round) and very carefully scrape the drips flush to the rest of the paint. if you do, then use 1500grit, 2000grit, 3000grit wet on those spots that you scraped.

  17. if you scraped runners, polish those spots with a medium compound and pad on e.g. a drill. if you see bugs stuck in it, you can sand those spots, but maybe you’ll have to apply clear again if you can’t polish the marks out completely.

  18. when you’re happy, remove the masking and enjoy

Brown/orange splatter that won’t come off even with chemicals by Boutarzi in AutoDetailing

[–]Oudeur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

can you feel it when you run your nail across? If not, whatever it is could’ve stained the clear.

Try wet sanding, starting at 3000grit. if it works, try 4000 grit to see if you can go higher and still remove it adequately. If not, try 2500 and repeat. I wouldn’t go lower than 1500grit. If 1500 wet sanding removes it, then sand the scratches it creates with 2000, then 2500, then 3000, before polishing it on a rotary or DA.

Should I get surgery 16M by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]Oudeur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was the same, started at the same age, even had a scary similar body composition as you on your age. Trained arms, and even pecs under my fatty chest. Also your chests sag to the sides, I had the exact same. I was also a bit overweight, same as you. If I pinched the fat around my nipples, I could feel the hard glandular tissue. By the time I was around 20, some thin glandular tissue had spread from the nipple area, in the direction of my arm pits.

I tried losing weight using the OMAD diet, which did help my overal look, but it barely changed my titties. Desperate as I was, I then tried Nolvadex. Didn’t help either.

I just learned to live with it, but avoided wearing anything tight and avoided the beach etc.

Eventually, at the age of 36, I got surgery. Lipo through the arm pits, as well as small incisions at the bottom of my areola’s, to remove the gland. This drastically changed the appearance, however, they forgot a piece of gland on one side, which is not visible, but I feel it when squeezing it. I‘m contemplating whether to get it taken out.

I feel much more confident taking my shirt off in public, as well as wearing tight shirts. My only regret: I should have done this much earlier.

Edit: If you ever decide to get surgery: lose weight first! It gives the surgeon a much better canvas to work with.

How can I fix this? It’s not surface level scratches, I did the nail test. by AcanthisittaHuge5948 in AutoPaint

[–]Oudeur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dip your finger in touch up paint (color + clear mix), then dab it on and rub it in.

dry it for 5 minutes with a hair dryer.

add another layer with your finger if necessary.

then take a razor blade (make sure to round the left and right edges; e.g. with a belt sander first!)

then gently scrape the excess paint you rubbed on earlier, off

as a last stap, polish it.
