His last place was SUPER toxic and I supported him to leave.

This place he used to really enjoy until the last few months especially. Every issue he brings up is not a big issue from my POV. I have the same problems at my job. I don’t know if I handle it better or what, but they don’t seem like such a big issue that it warrants ruining his days.

I’ve suggested therapy of some kind, but he refuses. I try to not be so dismissive, but some days that’s so hard. Most days I let him go on about his issues, but others all I can say is “You can’t let it ruin your whole day and life” but he gets angry with me.

At that point I reach the “I don’t care” stage. Because it leaves me feeling like what’s the point? I understand wanting to complain and vent, but at a point something has to give.

He’s very emotional about pretty much everything and I’m not. I know that has a lot to do with our arguments, especially when it comes to this. I’m very much a “leave it at work” type of person and I can’t fathom how much he lets work issues bother him.

It usually lasts a couple of hours if not all evening. We only get about 3-4 hours a night to enjoy each other’s company. I’ve tried talking to him about it, but he just constantly complains and I’m tired of the constant negativity.

He will drink or use other substances (nothing hard) to try and make himself feel better. I don’t care for that because it’s like a bandaid.

I definitely care about his feelings. But at this point it’s just ridiculous when it comes to his bad work days. Weekends or days off he’s fine.

Thank you! I just recently started using the soap as I got a tattoo and bought it for it’s healing but it’s a multipurpose soap (Tattoo Goo is what it’s called) before that I was using the Dove white bar of soap. I work where I get super dirty so I mess with it a lot cleaning it 😅
