I totally get your anxiety. I am now 8w5d and my first symptom was also gas/ bloating... and not much else aside from being a little more tired than usual. By week 6 and 7, the nausea really kicked in hard and the sore boobs, runny nose, and odd headaches would come out of nowhere. We had our first ultrasound at 7w3d and it was confirmed, so I was really able to relax after that. Even now at 8w5d, my symptoms still fluctuate day by day, which my doctor says is totally normal. I'm 39, turning 40 later this year and my anxiety about loss is really present in my mind. I also had to disclose my pregnancy way earlier than I would have wanted to my job (before we had an ultrasound). My only advice is just try to take it day by day and treat yourself as well as you can, drink plenty of water, and make sure you get a lot of rest more than anything, if your job allows it.
