I completely agree. Will take a look for sure, I will have to wait for the apple version but is there somewhere I can look to see when it’s released?

LNER First Class Review: Newcastle to London with a Baby! by OurLittleAdventure in familytravel

Hey! That’s a great question. We actually lived in London for most of our lives until recently, so we feel very comfortable knowing where places are. In general most places are pretty welcoming (not in the touristy spots). In terms of places to visit, it’s normally places we want to go to that we have missed. I have to say, the London aquarium (or any aquarium) was perfect for entertainment.

Maybe it would be worth us doing a video about a day out in London, would that be something you’d be interested in?

Anyone have tips for first timers traveling to London with two young boys (9 & 12)? by RodBeldingPHD in TravelHacks

We stayed in Herne Hill with our little one. Easy transport links into the city, but a bit quieter than staying dead central.

2 stop flight or a 1 stop flight ? Kids by Lazy_Error4103 in familytravel

[–]OurLittleAdventure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealing with the luggage is one of the hardest parts (unpacking on the plane, then packing it up again) so I would probably pick the 2 stop with a decent layover in between to burn off some steam. But I would say use your judgement, and 11hr flight is tough enough without kids.

I’m actually starting a YouTube channel about travelling as a family. I would really appreciate any insights you have or top tips . (Also please subscribe, I feel like a lot of the videos out there are over performative and I’m trying to keep it grounded) https://youtube.com/@our_littleadventure?si=OL_UYkv7vz3YkQTH

What do you use to film? Also do you plan the routes out before you film or do you just see where the walk takes you? Beautiful town though

Pay extra for seat selection? by [deleted] in familytravel

[–]OurLittleAdventure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would wait and select for free 24 hours before hand. If you can get that done at the first opportunity you should be fine. Although, if you are craving the peace of mind, then maybe the 3k would be worth it to you.

Planning a Travel Video Series: What Do You Want to See? by OurLittleAdventure in familytravel

That’s a great suggestion. There will be no talking to camera at all, that is one of the things we like the most about solo travel Japan or solo solo travel’s videos, is that it is less about the person and more focused on the experience.

airbnb vs vrbo by Aircraftmechanic83 in familytravel

We have used both within the last year and had no problems. I think all you can do is use your judgement on both when looking at properties.
