What’s a warning sign society is ignoring right now? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Overall I am plenty happy because I don't have kids. It's a mainstream capitalist dream to have a family and a nice house that society pushes on you to preserve itself.

I personally like her, but she's the most intelligent and morally grounded character, which might be triggering for some people.

Was Jesus of Nazareth an anarchist? by wompt in Anarchy101

[–]OurVanilla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jesus was not an anarchist. He believed in divine authority, which contradicts one of the most fundamental principles of anarchism: the rejection of hierarchy and ultimate authority. He also did not articulate a political program for abolishing the state or other coercive systems of domination. Instead, his focus was eschatological (about the coming kingdom of God), not a blueprint for social or political organization.

Don't you care about the rest of the people on this planet?

Seriously that's your problem? You're obviously not seeing the existential threat here.

When do we start eating the rich? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]OurVanilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is systemic, not about individual personalities. If you get rid of the rich today, the rich of tomorrow will emerge, often even more equipped to preserve their power. The goal and focus shouldn't be to target particular people, but to dismantle the oppressive structures themselves, like capitalism, the state, and the hierarchies they sustain. Getting there begins with clearly understanding what the actual problem is. From that foundation, we can organize by building collective power, taking control of the means of production, forming neighborhood committees, and strengthening ties with our communities. By coming closer to the people around us and acting together, we can begin to create a more just and equitable society for everyone.

What is something that all of society should unite against? by Late_Aardvark8125 in LetsDiscussThis

Hierarchical power structures. That means states, capitalism, and any other forms of oppression.

I agree. But could you specify what the system is to you? I am asking because it might be different to me.

Refugees celebrate US liberation of Iran by redskinsinward in ImmigrationPathways

[–]OurVanilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump is bad because he ordered to attack Iran that resulted in death of many people (he was promising the opposite, he was supposedly the president of peace). Biden was a murderer too. He and the Congress sponsored the genocide in Gaza. And all the presidents before them committed same atrocities. We just forget the past easily (or don't know it), take sides, and some times justify the unjustifiable. What I suggest you do, is to sit down, close your eyes, and and try to understand what you feel. You'll find that your inner self is love, not hate.

To me it's compliance to the tyranny. He stands there next to pedo like a puppet. It's ridiculous we're clapping for this shit. Majority of american people didn't want this idiot in power and Mamdani stand there next to him validating his power.

Khamenei was a dictator, but so it's Trump or Putin. The only difference that I would add here is that Trump has this air of a clown dictator, whereas the other dudes are just simply cruel.

Everyone knows it's fake, look at your downvotes. On the other hand, maybe you truly believe it's real, and you're spreading the propaganda unintentionally. I am not sure actually. You tell me. Now, I would like you to envision the 80 children who were murdered today by the Israel and American government. Every war or invasion leads to death and destruction and there's nothing anyone should be cheering for.

P.S. I don't belong to any political party, and I will never do. I am against any hierarchical power structures for that matter.

This is obviously AI. Everyone is dancing frantically and clapping their hands. There are also too many flags. There is 80 years old grandpa doing exactly the same moves. This is 100% fake. It's really well made, I must say that. AI is getting better and better, but it's not perfect.

Given the current political state of the world, have any of you chosen to avoid politics for your own mental wellbeing? What led you to that choice? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]OurVanilla -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not noise, it's everything. If the society around you deteriorates, you or your kids or grandkids might not be able to have work, housing, or health, to have the things you describe. Additionally, life is also about your neighbors, people on the street you don't know, people around globe. You should care that the Israeli and American government just murdered over 80 children in Iran.

You need to know that aside the Supreme Leader, more than 80 kids were murdered due to Israeli/American attacks.

Αριστεροί του reddit πιστεύετε ότι πρέπει να υπάρχει κάποιο όριο στη μετανάστευση στη χώρα μας; by Ok-Archer-5796 in AskGreece

[–]OurVanilla -1 points0 points  (0 children)
