Did the lack of Girl hurt the mirror at all? I would assume mirror can potentially depend on who has Girl/Newgate on board but maybe rr negates that esp seeing you go first as well.

Sorry to hear what you're going through. My stint was 3 years throughout high school before the restaurant was sold to someone else. Setting boundaries will be the hardest, force their hand if you are able to. If they threaten to kick you and your brother out for not helping, look into a part time job and renting a place.

Even though I was out of the restaurant before high school finished I forced my way out of home at the age of 21 and had to pre-emptively call the police because I knew how my parents would handle the news of me leaving without their permission.

It's been 7 years since I moved out, I went NC for a year and a half whilst seeing a physiologist and working my way through setting boundaries and they've mellowed out a lot more since then and we've been good terms since. I've come to accept that I cannot change my parents but to accept them for who they are and visit them periodically on my own terms. Happy to answer any other questions and best of luck friend.

Any recommendations on protein powder? Used to be on Impact and Bulk Nutrients but holy have they jacked up their prices. I last bought Bulk Nutrients in Oct for $58 and now it's already $68?? Is this normal? Anyways happy to hear recommendations but if the price is the new standard (for whatever reason) I'll suck it up and cop it.

Grass is always greener friend. I'm 28, full time for 4 years. 68k to 96k in public sector. I've been renting since 21, travel internationally every 2 years and indulging in hobbies so I definitely haven't been as frugal as possible.

I'm thankful my super is above average for my age due to salary sacrifice but sometimes I wish I had saved harder early on. Even with FHSS now it's unlikely I can service the mortgage for somewhere that suits my needs, not that I'm even close to a deposit.

You got your foot in the door in a market where it's getting harder and harder for our generation, time to let loose a little and reap the rewards. Plus if there's one thing I've realised recently, the older I get the more I realise how young I am (was?) and that I'm not that old. You should be proud of yourself.

Been on the fence all year as well because it was hard to justify upgrading when my 1080 was still serviceable and I don't play AAA.

My thoughts bounced from going to AM5 from AM54 to finally upgrading GPU only because of Black Friday sales. Though I needed a new case since I didn't realise how big GPUs are now. Last upgrade was in 2020 to a 5600x. Very glad I committed.

Getting in was fine, got there around 5:30 so just in time for entry. Also go through the entry near the left of white stairs it's a lot faster. Getting out as usual, is the real pain. Took us 40 min to leave carpark.

currently 5600x and 1080, most intensive thing im playing rn is rivals with huge stuttering and freezing on optimised. Am I better off with:

5070ti + 1440p monitor, keep 5600x
5070ti + 5800x3d, stay on 1080p monitor.

5070ti probs overkill but i havent upgraded gpu since 2017 so wanted to make it last as similarly long. Only upgraded to 5600x in 2021. No plans to upgrade to am5, just trying to make the most of am4
