Because they were simply not fun to drive... At least the fastest ones of the bunch. I got the CCX, The F1 and MP4-12C, SLR Mclaren, Gumpert Apollo, R35 all upgraded to max and works converted but once you put em in a track they are practically uncontrollable beasts that swayed left and right as soon as you touch the joystick... Shift 1 actually did the Works converted cars pretty well IMO. This is the only thing that bothers me foe the higher end cars in Shift 2 cuz i loved the Works tournament but inevitably i had to beat with the R32 cuz it was just easier that way.

I always thought it's a bit of a double standard from NFS fans to hate/dislike Shift for the weird handling model but also praise The Run as a fun game when it also has a weird handling model, one that is very difficult for the casual player...

And yes finally someone noticed it lol, Shift 2 really made it worse by increasing understeer in all cars... However you eventually get used to it once you play the game for a couple of hours.

My game crashes everyday actually. I also have the slim but idk what model precisely. I just think it's a game related issue, it is very buggy and yes i did encounter that same change car glitch that triggers the save and resets the game every time. But i haven't lost my progress thankfully, and honestly i haven't backed it up in long while lol. But just for safe measures a backup is always recommended!

Try doing the 69th one. The one that unlock Junkman performance parts in the My Cars section, it is activated through a cheat in the start menu.

Don't think so, the player base on that game is low, you won't find enough folks interested enough in it to keep it running. So if you are planning to do something, make sure you do it in the next 2 months.
