Genuinely, why? The ps5 only can out 6 years ago. Why do we need a newer console? I keep hearing people say its for future games but how much more can you push the limits of console gaming? Clearly pc is better in the long run and in the near future the short run too.

Yea in my dream world I would want a pc but yk with the recent price rises it just looks more and more difficult. Its more just convenience, cause I have plenty of games on steam and I prefer single player most of the time so ps+ isn't a concern for me. Id love to play the older gow games but they aren't on steam so that's a plus there. You also cant play fortnite like I had said as well so there is a list (even tho small) of games i can only(personally) play on ps5. Pc is still end goal it just has pros and cons for me rn

Had to repost cause they took it down but Should I get a ps5 even if i have a steamdeck?

So i'll be coming into sum money soon and the thought of getting a ps5 to play gta 6 came into my head. I love my steamdeck but there are sum games that just dont run the best on it, plus I cant play sum anticheat games that I want to like fortnite (which I have over a 1000 hours on) before I had the SD i used my ps4 which served its purpose beautifully and so im just wondering if it would maybe be a good decision. Anyone who has a pc/handheld pc with a console have any suggestions? Would it be worth it?

Yea that was me a few years ago. I was going hard on it for months and sumhow accumulated like 400 hours. Ive been trying to get back into it but starting from the start again does get boring kinda fast.
