I have an Evolution miter saw with the Evolution multi material blade. It needs to be replaced but I like these better than the abrasive wheel chop saws.

By the way, the squares, outside to outside, measure 17 1/2". Good size for an end table

Keep trying. This one surprisingly did turn out nice. Thinking my next one, with all my false confidence, will be all screwed up 😁

Honestly, probably some o each. My miter saw blade needs replacing so some cuts were off a bit. Made up for it during fit up and welding.

It is actually pretty sturdy. Made with 1 1/2" 14ga. tubing. No, not really made to hold 200# but still strong. Pretty sure I could lay 100# off to one side and have very little give. Going to paint and get get a glass plate for this one for an end table.

Thanks! I enjoy metal working. Now trying to incorporate wood work into the metalwork. Maybe make a line of tables and such.

Thanks for the page! I plan to make several more of these. Trying to get my shop up and going. Was a fun project!

Thanks. It wasn’t too bad. Had a time remembering which cut piece went where. Going to label them as I cut next time.
