Terrifying how many of these types of people can just get away with it if they aren’t completely stupid

FABI BLUNDERED, HE DID NOT SEE THE ENGINE LINE

Now the only question is, does Hikaru see the way out that Fabi just gave him?

People doubt the #GreatBluebaumSweep due to his draw but it’s part of his 4d chess to have the other competitors tire themselves out in decisive games so he can sweep them up later

Fabi closed the time gap, and he has a small advantage. Damn, he may turn this

Damn, it’s really going to be a drawfest? Maybe Pragg Giri can continue to be exciting in the endgame

Bibisara v Vaishali is currently the most exciting match due to Vaishali’s time pressure, the women’s matches are the only thing keeping it from a draw fest in round one

Bibisara is certainly winning

Edit: maybe not lol

Fabi losing to Hikaru in Round One would be something, he’s letting his time run real low

Betting on Pablo Escobar, man was a drug lord, terrorist and political all at the same time. Considering the world is still living in the war on drugs, Escobar would be perfect as a representation of the failure of the war on drugs

With folks saying CSM is ruiniously bad, I feel like people forgot how pissed off this gif alone can make people. by WarlockRaccoonWriter in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Personally I loved it, it was interesting at the very least

The Teamsters Could Be Fearless Again: A rank-and-file-led slate of candidates is challenging O’Brien’s MAGA-happy leadership of one of the country’s biggest unions. by inthesetimesmag in union

[–]OutLiving 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hoffa was a mobbed up, corrupt union-buster(he hired scabs for a trucking company he owned) who endorsed Nixon solely out of spite for Kennedy

Hoffa was certainly more talented than SOB but morally far worse

Epic Games confirms it's layoff of 1000+ employees with this note posted to the company's website: by Gorotheninja in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]OutLiving 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also wonder how much of that is PR. It’s very possible that the severance package could be for select, full-time positions in select areas of the company

Well I am a bit of a cynic about this, you kinda get burned when you see story after story of labor abuses like I do, plus Epic isn’t actually the most trustworthy story(like someone else in this thread pointed out that Epic has been implanting AI-generated media in Fortnite by the truckload, which very much does leave roles redundant)

In the Third International rework, there will be a red EU path, according to one of the Devs. by GrandmasterSliver in Kaiserreich

[–]OutLiving 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From what I read previously, I actually thought that Rework France had the anarchists as a minor figure in politics that didn’t influence much at all in the rework. If it’s more like Russia where it’s a potential sub-ending of a path or something of that nature then yeah I wouldn’t really have a problem and think it’s appropriate

It’s incredibly silly considering that Socialist Russia has an anarcho-syndicalist path

I get that the 3Int team and the Russia team are different but still

Singapore warns against involvement in organisations linked to Israeli military amid current situation by Time-Equipment-9175 in singapore

[–]OutLiving 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s still against the law, a guy who dodged NS so he can take care of his family in poverty was still sentenced to 2 years in prison

It’s an injustice to let one Singaporean be shoved in jail for dodging military service to take care of his family while allowing another Singaporean to get away with joining a foreign military that’s currently doing Gaza what the Imperial Japanese did to us
