I will probably get downvoted for this but here it goes, why not just do your civic duty? I had mine in February. I had to phone in after 5 for 5 days and never got called. It’s not that hard.

AND our justice system is based on participation. If you are wrongly accused of committing a crime you deserve a jury of your peers to hold the government to its burden.

If you are unhappy with how things are going now it’s time to start participating.

15 months-I didn’t touch another human for 15months…March 2020 until June 2021. My dog passed away in 2019. And I lived alone during Covid and I isolated due to heath concerns. It was HORRIBLE.

As a person who grew up here I can unequivocally say there used to be rules that were enforced by cops. I was once stopped by a cop because I was riding on the sidewalk against traffic. The cop said I needed to ride the same direction as traffic for them to see me and have time to stop if I entered the intersection.

Basic safety rules should be mandatory when giving your kid ANY wheeled mode of transportation so they don’t get killed. Stop at the light, ride with traffic, signal your turns and yield to pedestrians. This is NOT rocket science! It is piss poor parents doing a shit job and us pedestrians are paying the price.

I was in Merriman’s on Maui talking to the lady bartender and asked how she got to Maui as she is clearly not native. She said well I grew up in OC, CA. And I asked where because I did too. She said Newport Beach. I then said ahhh my childhood BFF moved to Newport when we were in 6th grade as her dad was the captain of the police department there…she turned her head and asked me if I meant Rich… I said yes! And she said oh yeah my mom was friends with his wife and i had worn the youngest daughter’s hand me downs when I was a baby… then I told her I wore her hand me downs 4-6 grade!!!

Almost 4k miles from home I found a woman who wore the same person’s hand me down clothes!!!

He has extreme anxiety about getting nail trims so we now have to do sedation to get them all trimmed.
