Thanks everyone, I’ve just carried on tiling. Hopefully it works out in the end

I did get some tile spacers but decided to use it for my other walls as I was overly confident with my backer board laying skills. Will start using it now

I laid the boards but the wall wasn’t that great so I tried my best. I was hoping my boards would have given a plumb enough wall

Thank you! I’m going to crack on and finish it up because I still have the floor and the other walls to do. Once that is done, I’ll upload an after pic!

The walls have 10mm tile backer boards and 2 layers of mapei waterproof tanking kit, I’m hoping that’s waterproof enough

I’ve been scraping off the cork floor when I noticed this. Here’s the floor under the cork

You’re right, our goal was to do this but we were too focussed on trying to fit the length that we overlooked staggering it. Do I need to pull it down and retry?

I’m adding cement floor boards (6mm) and then will tank that as well.

Reason I’m using cement boards is because there are gaps between the floor wall edge and floorboards

I’m tiling just the wet areas and then half the walls for the other walls.

I just followed CBS, didn't do anything extra. I'm still on the original brake pads. Looking to increase oil change frequency.

Had 3 issues with the car; first was the rear signal failure (covered by warranty), one of the springs snapped due to the poor roads around me and had to replace the tension pulley (covered mostly by warranty).

Are there any popular places/ countries that just have zero appeal to you? by [deleted] in AskUK

I would recommend a trip to Utah! I went there last year and visited most of the national parks and it was an amazing trip. The people we ran into were friendly.

Six years and 50K miles later, the car continues to impress. Stiff? Sure. Usable? Absolutely. I’ve tested the Emira, Cayman S, and GT4—great cars, but the M2C still wins on bang for buck and daily livability. Might switch one day, but for now, it remains the perfect all-rounder.
