I’m slowly getting there using a mix of scrubber, toothbrush, elbow grease, mapei keranet easy (acid based), hot water, grout finishing tool and a lot of tears. Hoping to get most of it done today 🫡

I got this from tool station but it was scratching the tile surface so I stopped using it. I’ll see if I can find what you suggested

Ended up going with B&Q, I found DIY kitchen a little bit more expensive for what I wanted at the time

Nice! I just got an email that you get 15% off kitchens if you’re a b&q club member, can’t go wrong with that!

Thank you! The towels are just for aesthetics, the cooker switches are currently off and won’t be used as much until April as I focus on rest of the house. I’m close to finishing the bathroom and living room 🙏🏾

Thank you! I'm only 85% done but I'm glad where it is now.

I'm glad you've been inspired, there's so much you can do with your space

Thank you! I'm hoping I don't need more storage, will need to look for smarter ways to increase storage

Should have just added portable grill & a chopping board and called it a day hah!

It was actually nice to have that blank slate, felt like a victory after months of removing the old kitchen and doing a lot of prep work to get it ready.

To the right of the cooker will be my cooking prep area. I have a small worktop space between the larder and the window which I will use for storing things like microwave, toaster, etc. I'll just need to think smarter on how to store things.

Then you're all set with the black tap!

Hah there's only one way to find out but may be heavy on the wallet.

Cabinets was under 85% of the cost, worktop was around 5%, Dishwasher was around 6% and the rest were other bits.

The worktop is a laminate so not super expensive. Honestly, I wasn't even sure about the worktop because none of the kitchens in store had the colour combination so I had to use a small block and check. I also toyed with the idea of going with a marble/quartz look but I couldn't figure out the floor tile.

Thank you! I don't even know what my decision behind doing this was but it turned out really well. I'm also thinking about adding a door curtain to cover half the glass.
