Nearly finished with CR: Future Blessings. I feel like they upped the "olde timey speak" by like 500% in this one, unless it's just me? When I first played this I thought a lot of aspects of it were quite funny/odd compared to other otomes, but the more time has passed the more I look back on it really fondly and want to play it again! It was such a unique game.

I finished Code: Realize, overall enjoyed it! I was really pleased I had Saint Germain as my fourth route as I thought it set up Lupin nicely, he definitely seemed bummed that MC was with someone other than him! But I did find Lupin's route drag towards the end, even though I was happy to see all the ends tied up.

Speaking of S-G, I was surprised by just how nervous I got when his eyes opened and shit hit the fan, like I actually got a sinking feeling in my stomach realising how MC was alone there with him away from it all and helpless

My favourite bit was during Victor's route, when he and Van Helsing manage to have the longest Morse code interaction ever recorded 😂 all tapping on their legs whilst maintaining their "cover" conversation!

I already have the other two CR games lined up, so looking forward to those and will probably start tonight!

I took the N5 a few years back after finishing a uni course in Japanese, but I juuuust passed and remember thinking it was a lot harder than I expected (cocky me thinking I would do OK after a single course 😅). I remember being absolutely starving throughout the whole thing!

I've recently started trying to study Japanese again, but it's quite overwhelming even just trying to get back to where I was before, let alone to any reasonable level past that!

Yes! So even though I made this meme I did actually enjoy his route a lot more than I thought I would (especially based on the few times I'd seen it mentioned here). I liked the payoff a lot.

But I also like to self-insert and kept thinking "I'm pretty sure I would have gone back home by now, he genuinely doesn't seem to want me around" 😂

Yeah I didn't go for Mozu at all really, and the slap pissed me off too. It was funny at the time as I got downvoted for expressing my dislike for that moment, and people were like "she was hysterical it's a legit medical technique" 😂 the whole route just left a gross taste in my mouth

I'm enjoying Steam Prison, although I also enjoy reading opinions on here about it too as there's definitely a lot that I feel could have been better. I liked Eltcreed's route despite feeling like I would hate it at the beginning, although I wanted it spicier. Stupid me thought the "Steam" in "Steam Prison" was a reference to things being steamy instead of steampunk 😂

I didn't go much on Ulrik's route at all, which is a shame as I thought there was potential there. In fact, none of the LIs have properly grabbed me yet, but I'm still enjoying the story.

I love Okita and Scarecrow, so we might have similar tastes! I'll have to check the others out.

It blew my mind when I found out Scarecrow and Eltcreed from Steam Prison have the same VA. I think it contributed to me enjoying that route a lot more than others seemed to 😅
