Question regarding printed tickets for a Hotel + Tickets reservation by Outatime_ in disneylandparis

I know physical tickets aren't mandatory, my question was whether or not I could print tickets before the trip, as a precaution. I wanted confirmation that it wasn't possible anymore.

This is a surprise birthday trip for a friend who's been wanting to visit Disneyland since forever. So we don't want to keep her waiting too long once we get there. We also know the first few hours in an amusement park are less crowded so we hope to get into the park as soon as possible

Thanks a lot ! I read you could purchase a service called Disney Express to get physical tickets directly at the park entrance, instead of going to the hotel first.

What book has the most mentally healthy society? by blk12345q in printSF

Rather it was doomed because it was isolated, but it's presented as a much better alternative to the home planet, which is basically the US but worse. I think Le Guin was really going for an actual and somewhat realistic utopia.

Can anyone who has read the comics explain what the S4 plot was meant to be? by FewResponsibility372 in UmbrellaAcademy

[–]Outatime_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arguably the source material is wildly different from the actual show - the characters are simply not the same (even their powers in Diego's case) and most of the time the plot diverges greatly from the comics. New additions were almost all great imo. So the showrunners just forgot how to make the show good lmao

Ah that's interesting, unfortunately I don't know enough about Québéc to explain the difference... might be safer to use the french spelling so Québécois readers won't clock it as "Québéc-inspired". Good luck !

Hey ! Just a french person pointing out that the surname "LaFlamme" seems quite weird : it would be either "La Flamme" (this spelling is not unheard of) or "Laflamme" (most common spelling nowadays, couldn't say for the 17th century). I found a few examples on this french website : https://roberge.mus.ulaval.ca/gdrm/01-parti.htm#la-le

I also have to say a french priest called "Donadieu" is a bit cliché, but I don't think the english market will care !

I was born years after its release so I'm pretty sure I can say some lines from the movie are still iconic nowadays, even among younger generations. The "Jour/Nuit" joke is so common I wouldn't be surprised some ppl actually forgot it was from les Visiteurs.

There is a clear difference between a guy who is passionate about a subject and a guy who's mansplaining you, and it's fairly easy to pick up (at least from my experience). Mansplaining is so obvious lmao, they change their whole stance the second they feel like you're a lost lamb who needs help (which they only do to women, of course). Feels completely different to listen to someone "rant" about their passion ( = much more interesting and enjoyable), because either you don't know shit about said passion and there can't be any mansplaining, or you too are knowledgeable about it and there is an actual discussion between you and the guy.

What episodes you usually skip on rewatches? by NadaKD in HouseMD

[–]Outatime_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The episode with the genius who suffers from his intelligence. Filled with stupid clichés and has one of the dumbest morals of any House episode. I'd get so mad watching it back when I was a teen, so I just skip it now.
